thanks for this docker, it's working nicely!
I've one problem, though: I'd like to install a custom addon, and the openhab "addons" folder does not seem to be available (?). I've tried adding a "/openhab/addons" -> "/mnt/user/appdata/openhab2/addons/" path setting to the docker, but it doesn't seem to be effective. Or at least openhab behaves as if the addon I copied there didn't exist.
Any ideas?
You will need to put addons to /appdata/openhab/userdata/... There Should be an addon folder or have a look in the config file for addons. I can have a look tomorrow.

Hi, there have been some updates since the first release of this template.
The Nextcloud Team will not longer support ONLYOFFICE and switched the service. That works well too.

Refused can although mean that its not a trusted ip set this up in nc.
I although dont understand why you reverse to a public adresss cloud.xxxx.com so everyone can connect direct too? Makes no sense

I use a reverse proxy (SWAG), and nextcloud doesnt work, it will refused the connexion automatically of the reverse proxy. So I can't access to the web page of Nextcloud because i have a "502 Bad Gateway" error. Anybody know how to fix it ?

setting up nginx behind a reverse is not that easy which guide did you follow?
502 is somehow maybe a general Problem.
Have you got Connection from the swag Server to the nc docker? Thats the First thing to Check.

Hi, thanks for that. I have changed the mount file names.
The ports are exposed but I did not configure port mapping since I am running that container not in a bridge mode.
You can just change/add them by the unraid gui.
Why would you like to put the broker into that container? You can just run another container and use the openhab MQTT Binding.

if you use post arguments it will loose its entry point.

There is on comment on Troubleshooting of OH3:If you want use an USB stick (for example for Z-Wave network), then it will be not available for the dockerized system by default. In Docker openHAB is running in name of openhab, a restricted user. The stick will work if you run the following command right after docker image is started.

Hi, you can try this with the Post Argument but only the chown you do not need docker exec.
If the docker is not starting then add the entry point after your post Argument. Would be great if it does.

the "openhabian-way" doesn't work
the runtime update says i am already on 2.5.0 even if i tell him to update to 2.5.11
and with apt i am getting nowhere
go to docker /click on the docker openhab and click edit at the Option docker container you edit that. Cheers

Hey unraid friends,
so i am a bit amazed as i set up my gigabit internet connection.
I wondered why my internet is so slow while downloading to unraid and i found out that there is a very strange behavior while downloading from the internet to a disk.
so but 1 after the other:
My downloads folder is set up like this and has cache drive enabled
if i download to /dev/null - it is very fast - gigabit 😄
if i download to the cache drive it is half so fast, but fast
if I download to a share /mnt/user/Downlaoads it is so slow like a LAN Party in the 90th
But if i upload a file from my network to that same share /usr/mnt/Downloads is has full speed
So here is my one and only question to save my day:
Why?

You can just run docker exec with user www-data and run occ.Hi
Since I restarted Unraid my Nextcloud is stuck in maintenance mode. I tried to enter the following command in console
sudo -u apache scl enable rh-php73 -- php -dmemory_limit=512M /usr/share/nextcloud/occ maintenance:mode --off
but I get the reply "sudo not found"
SSH is not possiple. How do I get Nextcloud running again?

But better take a look at the logs to find out why it Switches to maintinance

how secure is nextcloud talk?
If i activate the nextcloud talk app should i change some settings to make it more secure ? Maybe for encryption?
Or is it automatically secure if I install the talk app ?

Use /mnt/user/appdata that folder is configured to be mounten.I have this setup but it appears it is completely ignoring my config at /mnt/cache/appdata/mopidy/mopidy.conf.
When I shell into the container and run mopidy config I see configuration options that aren't in my current config. It's as if it's using a cahced config that you setup.

Thats all about file rights on that folder. use chown and chmod to corret it.

Oh damn! trurl is right that feature is only for user shares.
try to exec this inside your Postgre container:
Maybe the user/group is postgres:postgres - I dont know your Postgres Server
chown -R root:root /var/lib/postgresql chown -R root:root /etc/postgresql chown -R root:root /var/log/postgresql chown -R root:root /var/run/postgresqlThis error is all about you DB not OpenProject.

You have to edit the folder rights of your appdata / openhab folder so that you can edit that files

I can't do "sudo chown -R www-data:www-data /path/to/localdir" because of error: "chown: invalid user: ‘www-data:www-data’"
did you mount that folder. As described on the first page you have to volume mount the share folders to the container and than you can use that extension.
I dont think you need to setup rights for www-data that for.
