OK, so i am new to Unraid but i think i am missing something. I thought the cache pool was only for writing data. So does it cache data from storage or only reads back data that is in the write cache? So if the write cache is flushed to storage then there will be no read performance benefits right?

Hey I will be building a UNRAID Server with 12 x 10TB drives with 2 drives for ParityThe problem is the country that i am in has many power outages, i have a UPS but sometimes the power is out for so long that the UPS wont last. So the question is if the Unraid server shuts down ungracefully will i have data loss or corruption issues or can the Unraid OS handle ungracefully shut downs?

Hey i want to build an unraid storage server with 12 x 10TB Drives. What is the best way to setup the drives i want to use 2 drives as parity and I will use 2 x 1TB ssd's as a cache pool. So what type of Read performance can i expect from Unraid? I need really good read speed performance so is it possible to get read performance similar to something like a RAID 10 setup? If so whats the best way of configuring it?

Hey, I have just downloaded the latest stable unraid version and installed it. I have my Windows Server 2016 VM working. Inside that vm when i try installing the Hyper-V role i get an error Saying Virtualization is not enabled in the BIOS. So, is what i am trying to do supported By UNRAID or is it a limitation of Server 2016? If there are any settings i need to to do can you send me a link or the directions to them. Thanks for the Help

Hey Guys, Has anybody ever got GPU passthrough to work with the Intel S2600CP2J motherboard and using a GTX 960 to work? The cpus i have are dual Xeon E5-2670 I am thinking about building a machine like this so just wanted to know if this will work.
