I am working on improving my network security and I would like to change the unRAID default GUI port number. What would be the best way of doing this well making it prisistant?
Can someone explain how changing the default port improves security?

I think we need to come up with a gaming/media-related usecase for this feature to be taken more seriously with this community..
Can we bring this back form the dead? Any chance of getting more support for this?
Have you tried it? I believe it was added back in 6.2.
I tried googling around. This was the first thread, and I didn't see any explanations from lime tech on how it's done. This was all I could find. Is this actually documented somewhere?
I saw the Enable VLANs options under network settings but there wasn't a help pop up that gave additional information on how it works/what it does.

I put that in there because I kept forgetting the settings :-) It takes so little space so dont worry about it. It doesn't get used for anything.
Gotcha. Somehow it was ignoring a few of my commented out options in the config and I thought maybe the example was messing with something. Turned out I just needed to delete them as it was ignoring the '#'.
Thanks for the docker!

Prevent creation of "mosquitto.conf.example"?
I can't figure out why the docker is creating the example file every time. I've deleted the conf.d and config.d folders and am just using the config file in the root config folder.

I'm having this issue on several iso's, is there any fix for this?

Sounds like something tripped up in the docker service when you tried to upgrade. I'd remove your existing container and then try and re-add it.
I had to reboot unraid as the docker was completely unresponsive.

Any idea what could be causing this?
Stopping container: unifi Error: Error code Removing container: unifi Error: Error code Stopping container: unifi Error: Error code Removing container: unifi Successfully removed container 'unifi' Command: root@localhost:# /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/scripts/docker run -d --name="unifi" --net="bridge" -e TZ="America/Los_Angeles" -e HOST_OS="unRAID" -e "PUID"="99" -e "PGID"="100" -p 8330:8080/tcp -p 8081:8081/tcp -p 8443:8443/tcp -p 8843:8843/tcp -p 8880:8880/tcp -v "/mnt/user/appdata/unifi":"/config":rw linuxserver/unifi docker: Error response from daemon: Conflict. See '/usr/bin/docker run --help'. The command failed.

But it looks as though yours isn't actually starting. Could be this: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=39985.msg518709#msg518709 if you're building a brand new server.
Thanks! Just like QKVooDoo's post, I had clicked on the status window and all it showed was the following text with a copy to clipboard option:
/usr/local/emhttp/plugins/preclear.disk/script/preclear_disk.sh --notify 2 --frequency 4 --cycles 2 --no-prompt /dev/sdbI stopped it, looked for a new config button but did not find it. Decided to try to restart the preclear and it start up and updated the previous status window with the text above to a normal status window showing progress.

Instructions for Dockergui based containers - DigiKam, RDP-Calibre and RDP-Boinc
These containers are linux desktop apps that open in a web browser thanks to HurricaneHernandez's awesome Dockergui baseimage (guacamole server based).
All you have to do is open the WebUI. The default resolution is 1280x720, but can be changed by clicking on the container name, selecting Advanced View and modifying the WIDTH and HEIGHT variables.

Are you going to create a Zoneminder 1.30 separate docker or just update the 1.29?

For those still looking, I found this one https://registry.hub.docker.com/u/softvisio/utserver/dockerfile/ and have been using it for a week now without issue. A quick note of warning, should you update the settings once the docker is running then the config file is reset, learnt it once after which it was not a problem again. It seems to use the older web page format so if some-one can help me with "enabling" the newer one I will be quite grateful.
Bringing this back, is anyone running uTorrent in a docker on their v6 system?

That explains it. Thanks

I created a file share and initially had it set to prefer cache storage. I then began file transfer to this drive and realized I had not changed it to NOT store on the cache. Long story short, my 250GB SDD is now 99% full of files that should be on my array.
I have updated the setting to not use the cache drive for storage. And I've ran the Mover three times. I can't get these files moved over to the array.

If I add a third drive, will it use that drive to add volume? And what about a fourth?
I think I have two 120GB I could install...

Does anyone have the files to make this unit work with unraid? It looks like I need to flash it to IT mode. Does anyone know if you have to do something else to enable and turn on the IT mode pass through? None of the drives are showing up on my R510.
Change the Web GUI port number? (solved)
