    After updating to 6.3.4 the WebUI became incredibly slow (minutes between page loads) and I can no longer access my shares through the local network. Reboot and Powerdown buttons do not work not with syslog saying "shutdown failed".

    In syslog this blocks of code are repeating every minute, and I am sure that's what is slowing things down.

    I have searched the forums and the only thing I have found that is similar is this post.

    Here are the outputs of a few commands that might help clarify my situation.

    > grep avahi /boot/config/passwd

    > grep avahi  /etc/passwd

    avahi:x:61:214:Avahi Daemon User:/dev/null:/bin/false
    avahi-autoipd:x:62:62:Avahi AutoIP Daemon User:/dev/null:/bin/false

    > grep avahi /etc/shadow

    > grep avahi /boot/config/shadow

    avahi:!:14980:0:99999:7:::
    avahi-autoipd:!:14980:0:99999:7:::

    ps aux | grep avahi

    outputs nothing

    If anybody has any advice or suggestions please share. Also, if you need any more information from me just let me know

    I assume you are using the unassigned devices plugin.  Set up a script with UD that runs when you mount it and perform your backup.  Read the UD post and you can get some tips on how to run a script with UD.  Look at the examples.

    Oh yes, I actually forgot it was a plugin and not built in.

  5. Hello all,

    New here and not sure if this is the right forum to post this question so let me know if there is a better spot for this questions.

    Anyways, I have a smb device mounted in the Remote SMB/NFS shares and I would like to back it up to a drive on my unRAID server.

    Does anybody have advice/tips on how to do this?

    I have tried searching around and looking at plugins/apps for this but I could not find anything to help me accomplish this.

    Edit: Yes I am using the Unassigned Devices plugin, using the example scripts there, I was able to accomplish what I wanted.

  6. Hello, I have set everything up yet nothing seems to be happening. It says running next to the folder but no files are being downloaded.

    There are no warnings or errors in the logs and I am sure all paths and relevant usernames/passwords are correct.  What can I do to troubleshoot this?
