Hey
I just lost the power, where the Unraid server is located and my router automaticly reboots and is up and running again. The unraid server doesnt seem to do that. Is there anyway to set it up in a way that, when it losses power it will automaticly reboot? Its quite frustrating, when i'm off-site.
It also encounters problems, when my router have been rebooted, where it doenst automaticly renews its network configuration

So I had problems starting the docker after updating and I changed the unraid port to 442 and the dockers seems to work again. Is there anything else I should do?

Hey i have been having some weird transcoding problems in plex and wanted to ask something regarding cache drives.
Right know my Transcoding drive is set up in Plex docker to /mnt/user/appdata/PlexMediaServer/transcode
My share appdata is currently on prefer.
Is it set up properly if i want to ensure that Plex uses my SSD for transcoding?

I just pulled the latest version and it doesnt Seem to have updated to Sab 2.2
Why is that?

Because if I delete my appdata for this container the version sets to 2.1.9
I just can't delete my appdata because there's so many devices which I have to update my certs / creds on

I just use a sync command and have moved it to User scripts. But whenever I want to look at the log it only returns this:

Full logs for this script are available at /tmp/user.scripts/tmpScripts/rclone_custom_plugin/log.txtIt returns the same exact message in the "full logs" anyone familiar with this issue?

I have setup a revser proxy and ssl cert for my primary domain xxx.tld. I know need to do the same for another domain that I own. The content is exactly the same for both domains. Should I just do a DNS redirect or whats is the preferred way to do on my other domain?

as far as i understand rclone Google drive backup doesnt work very well due to hard links
what's your preferred way to backup is it just an external drive plugged in via unassigned devices?

I have the SSL certificates running on the NGINX webserver. I now need the certificates for my openvpn acces server web server.
Any of you guys know which files to upload under CA bundle, Certificate and Private Key.

Trim "costs" you and the SSD nothing. There's only benefits and zero downsides
It's more when setting the scheduled trim if it's important that I'm not reading or writing from the ssd at that time

unRaid is running behind an avm fritzbox router (non-static-ip)
internet - > ts.domain.org -> avm router -> unraid server

Is it important to only make the SSD trim, when the SSD is not in use?

This looks very promising. I'm completely new to Nginx and reverse proxy. I have a static ip at my ISP and have my own domain name. Can you guys recommend any reading material/Guides to learn how to set up reverse proxy. As I understand it when I have a static ip a DDNS is obsolete. Currently my domain's DNS is hosted at Cloudflare with only DNS activated. Can someone if possible briefly explain or link to an article or guide etc on what to add on my domains DNS record (how it works). I assume DNS A records pointing to my public ip.

As followup to my original question every application this docker need to make reverse proxy is hosted in containers on my unraid machine

Nevermind it seems to go through the correct VPN gateway
Whois database/query at a torrent ip check site detects the ip as Russia even though it is infact Netherlands.

I just noticed, that my PIA vpn through this docker connects to russia, even though I have set the VPN_REMOTE to nl.privateinternetacces.com. Have anyone experienced something similar?

May I ask how you installed Teamviewer?
I tried installing it through the package manager and it returns error --> write error: No space left on device
my vdisk is 20g so there should be enough space

i just got a new WD Red 6 tb drive and is about to install it and was wondering if it is recommended to preclear it before use and if so how should I do it? It seems that the support of the preclear plugin is broken in recent updates
if I shouldn’t preclear does there exist a plug-in I can use to test the drive before use?
