  1. Good morning! I would be more than happy to adjust the existing container in order to create the base. I really hate doing documentation though and would rather have someone else do that. I will fork my own project and create the base. PS This container took tons of testing. I tested noVNC, xvfb with X11VNC, guac, Xvnc and X11rdp. X11rdp was the best for performance but there were some font issue where check marks wouldn't show never figured out why. I might test out again later in the year when X11rdp has had more development. X11rdp also allowed for dynamic resolutions which was awesome. Anyhow xvfb with X11VNC was too slow, there was too much of a delay because the virtual X11 server was not optimized for vnc. In the end by going with Xvnc as the virtual server I was able to get performance as close to as X11rdp. I will include in the base project to branches an Xvnc and an X11rdp. Each of you can play around with each branch and decide what is best for them. PS with X11rdp using a mac rdp client showed no issues what so ever.
  2. As promised the template was updated. Thanks for your suggestions.
  3. The template as quoted is right. I will update as suggested but 8080 is very common and the issue will resurface for others
  4. I'm glad It's working. You can an additional port mapping for 8080. The web interface is now on 8080. The new Web interface uses rdp as well and is super responsive.
  5. The default internal port is 8080 for the web interface and 3389 for rdp. I believe I updated the template yesterday. I will ensure the template is right in a bit. I was using novnc but have no switched to guacamole. Please endure you have updated your templates. Sometimes these means going to the dockers settings page and pressing save on the templates report list. Also the template doesn't map the rdp port so please add it in the configuration page of the container. Please let me know how it works out for you.
  6. I don't think that has anything to do with the container or docker.
  7. I see the issue in ms remote desktop client as well, so it must be a settings issue. Can you post an image from experience settings?
  8. Yeah, that's because I had vnc cache on. Weird. I will do more testing. The check boxes only appear for me when I minimize and maximize ms remote desktop connector. Did you take that image from guacamole? Or from rdp access? If so which rdp client?
  9. So after some testing I noticed checkboxes don't display well. If using an rdp client do you notice much of difference between the last two builds?
  10. Awesome. Glad it's working out, this one took a lot of love to produce.
  11. Okay should be building now, test the web interface now. It runs full rdp communication.
  12. Sorry, I will test right now. I made more massive changes to increase performance.
  13. By the way is there a link to your container? I would like to review and contribute if possible?
  14. I making the following request, because without it apps the require IPV6 will cause headaches. A good example is x11vnc, if using x11vnc within an unRAID environment that doesn't have ipv6 built into the kernel, x11vnc causes a buffer overrun.
  15. I saw that, you don't want to move away from the phusion image? the only thing I change from forking phusion 0.9.16 was changing the base and nothing else at all. Have we drawn attention to Dev team about compiling the kernel with ipv6 support so that we don't have to do all these work around?
  16. Should I take out tinymediamanager and make a base for just the gui part, so that you can fork that and make pull request for additions, and adjustments?
  17. Good, let me know if there any additional adjustments you feel are necessary. PS you can make it accessible through a browser using rdp by using the guacamole container.
