  1. After having such a hard time for so long let me tell you RFX433 is a completely pile of DOGSHIT.
  2. Yes, i just tried again. Here's what my VM looks like Home Assistant can find it during setup And yet ...
  3. If i remember correctly i also already tried that, but i'll try again. Docker run looks like this --device='/dev/serial/by-id/usb-Silicon_Labs_CP2102N_USB_to_UART_Bridge_Controller_a87f564d9738ef1187233c7af3d9b1e5-if00-port0' 'ghcr.io/home-assistant/home-assistant:stable' No luck
  4. Hello, thanks for answering. The issue is that even after installing the driver approprietly (as stated in the readme and the thread you posted) device manager still says it's unable to find an appropriate driver. It really looks like the VM can't communicate with the device, despite showing up. I have already flashed the latest firmware from my desktop which has no issues making the device work.
  5. Hello folks. I am trying to make my RFX433 (the 2025 model) work in Home assistant, running on my unraid server. So far, i have been able to add the RFX integration to home assistant, and tried to make a passthrough for the usb RFX that looks like this : Problem is, While the integration was able to be installed in home assistant, everytime i try to follow the RFX433 PDF to have my Somfy devices connected, i get this loop “Initialisation > Timeout on connect”. I have tried restarting the RFX, tried restarting the HA docker, but no luck. Strangely enough, after restarting it, when i do the setup, it appears as ttyUSB1. I also tried to put /dev/ttyUSB1 in the docker passthrough but same error happens. Finally, i tried to restart the whole machine (Unraid server). Now the RFX is showing up as ttyUSB0 but still having timeout error. What am i doing wrong ? Any help to make this work would be great. Additional info : RFX works fine on my windows computer. Is up to date. HA is also up to date aswell as Unraid. I have since then did some more troubleshooting : I tried to passthrough a bunch of different thing, /dev/ttyUSB0, /dev/serial/by-id/usb-Silicon_Labs_CP2102N_USB_to_UART_Bridge_Controller_a87f564d9738ef1187233c7af3d9b1e5-if00-port0, /dev/bus/usb/001/002 aswell as the whole usb bus but nothing). The device DOES display in unraid so i know it's not dead. I tried multiple usb ports. This is my computer hosting unraid. I tried front usbs, back usbc, aswell as usb-c. No luck. I went from the "official" HA docker to linuxserver docker, aswell as Spaceinvader1 docker/VM but same error in those 3 home assistant. I also tried to spin up a windows 10 VM and do a passthrough there. And while i was able to see the device in device manager, i was unable to install the drivers and make it work in windows VM. It looks like the VM wasnt able to associate the device with the installed drivers. I also found out that in the docker log, there's an error poping up everytime it goes into a "timeout on connect" loop. I would really like to not only fix it but understand what's happening so that, if i add another similar device like a zigbee stick, i can fix it instead of fighting with it for weeks. PS : i've put Docker Engine as a sub forum because i can't select docker container for some reason.
  6. Ok, so i fixed it, kinda. I found a backup from march, and when reinstalling this one, i was able to setup the array/cache without having that "disk1,cache" thing on some shares. It's either disk1 or cache. And now drives are going to sleep approprietly, which makes the whole thing much quieter when not used.
  7. What i dont get is that it worked as expected for a while, then it stopped working as intended. If that wasnt working from the beginning, i'd be ok with it.
  8. So, i tried this morning to nuke my usb stick following this post : Spoiler : it didnt worked. Parity and Disk 1 are always being up even when i manually press "spin down". The same issue goes on.
  9. It doesnt looked like it helped. All the drives have spun down, yet the bay is still on on all drives.
  10. Yes. Both were off. So far, it looks like my plex is out of order. I'll reinstall it. EDIT : reinstalling plex worked.
  11. ok so it looks like i managed to make it work, but when moving files i had a message about uncomplete files ? I hope i didnt break anything.
  12. I tried moving the files from the shares to my computer and then back to the folders, expecting the "cache : only" to put everything back in cache but diagnostics are still giving me the "exist on cache, disk1" thing. Is there any specific thing to do to get everything for those 2 shares back on cache ?
  13. I don't trust the mover much because i never know what it's doing. i work in IT, so if i have to do some terminal commands, i think i can manage
