Hello, i have a msi mpg x570 pro wifi and i have no problem with usb passthrough but if i Pass the sound card it's not working the vm won't start without any errors. I will try with acs overide

Thank you very much, almost perfect Board. I would have to Pass the soundcard.Note that I can not pass the on board audio even though it's in it's own group. I've always used a (USB) Astro Mixamp so it's no loss to me.

I have not attempted to run any VMs yet, it will probably be a week or two before I have the time to. My dockers were the priority.

after realizing it didn't have a GPU built in (took me a few hours of frustration), finally got it up and running. Suprised i just rebooted with the flash drive and everything works as is. Nice to have so much headroom for blue iris. Running great, haven't used AMD for about 10 years, they knocked it out of the park with the Ryzen 3rd gen.

Guys - what's your experiences with Windows 10 and either 4 cores or 8 cores, which performs better for you in gaming?
I passed through my 980ti today and getting really poor physics scores in 3dmark, In firestrike extreme i get 6fps on just the physics test.
I dedicated 8 ryzen cores in the usual pairs 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9. GPU scores seem normal so not sure why my CPU is taking a big hit in physics.
What's everyone else's scores?

hi trurl, I got stuck in getting xrdp to work. I haven't gotten my Windows to RDP into LinuxMint 18.1 installed with xrdp already.

I assume xrdp is already installed and running. But when I use Microsoft RDP, and connect to Computer: 192.168.1.103- My Unraid IP address, it doesn't connect. Do I need to put in some port?
If needed, please move me to right forum. I'm using Unraid as host.
You have to test with the ip of the vm. Not the ip of Unraid server.

Well that's the issue - the Ryzen holds a lot of promise but it is still new and nothing is working perfectly yet. That thread is where people are talking about what works and what doesn't.

Hello, i am new in the World of Unraid.
I have a pc and the processor and motherboard is not compatible iommu, thats Why i plan to change my mobo and processor. I want a build with plex server and 2 vms.
One with Linux and one with Windows 10 with a GPU ( amd r9 280x) for gaming.
I would like a ryzen build with a easy setup for délicate GPU to Windows.
If someone have a good build (intel or amd).
My budget is arround 300 dollars for mobo and processor.
