Following my issue in post #79, I have deleted the original docker.img and re-added all of my containers, but still have the same problem.
However, plex did load initially after the install, which it didn't last time. But after a server reboot, plex shows as running, but nothing, until i restart the container, then BAU.
Is it possible for two containers to conflict?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That doesn't seem to be it. I just left it overnight and woke up to PLEX still not loading, despite the docker showing as running. Again, restarting the docker solved the problem
Is there something i could do to try and discover the cause?

Hi all,
I'm having a weird problem. I've just migrated from the Limetech docker due to the lack of PLEXPass support. Everything seemed to go well, however I had to restart the docker to get it to run after it installed.
Subsequently, I've noticed that when I restart unRAID, the Linuxserver docker, initially doesn't load. Even though it is set to start at boot and after booting the green indicator is showing next to the icon as if it was running. When I click to view the log however, the log is completely blank and when I try and load the GUI the page isn't available.
If I click to restart the docker though, it reloads and everything is fine. I'd appreciate any help that can be given as having to manually restart it every time the server reboots will be a little frustrating. I've deleted and reinstalled the image and container several times and I'm afraid I have no logs to post other than what's there after I restart the docker as the log is empty initially...

Hi all,
I have a txt file on my flash drive called ‘cronjobs.txt’ which I have my go script pick up on boot, to load a few cron jobs that I run monthly.
The problem I'm having is that when I update unRAID via the GUI, the process moves the ‘cronjobs.txt’ file, from the root of the flash drive to the ‘previous’ directory, meaning I have to move it back after, or (what usually happens) forget until my cron jobs don’t trigger.
Is there anything I can do to exclude the ‘cronjobs.txt’ file from being moved to the ‘previous’ directory during an update?
Thank you,
Rich

Thank you for continuing to look into this.

Well after going through all the settings i could think of, i discovered that "Power Options, Change Plan Settings, Change Advanced Power Settings, Sleep, Hibernate After" was set to 180 minutes.
Slightly embarrasing, although a bit strange, as i had alredady set the machine to not go to sleep. Sorted now though.
Thanks to all that replied.

Yeah you can.
Shutdown the VM, then go to the unRAID GUI -> VMs tab -> click on OS icon for the relavent VM -> click edit.

Hi all,
I'm having a problem with a new Windows 10 (build 1511) install. It replaced a Windows 7 VM (image backed up) and is now the only VM setup in unRIAD.
Install went smoothly and uses a legit key and initially ran for 12+ hours before either crashing or shutting down and now runs for less than 5 hours before crashing or shutting down again. After some googling i have verified that there is sufficient free space on the host drive and have also restarted unRAID, but no change.
(virtio-win-0.1.102)
This is what shows in the log,
2015-11-15 11:12:51.434+0000: starting up libvirt version: 1.2.18, qemu version: 2.3.0 Domain id=1 is tainted: high-privileges Domain id=1 is tainted: host-cpu char device redirected to /dev/pts/0 (label charserial0) qemu: terminating on signal 15 from pid 5347 2015-11-15 14:28:14.903+0000: shutting down
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Just tried again; new container, image and config folder, but still no keyboard i'm afraid
-
Always the most up to date, so currently 6.1.3 and i've tried using safari, chrome, IE and also RDP directly. All have the same problem with no keyboard input.
-
I've removed both container and image twice now and still have the same problem. Any help would be appreciated saarg, no matter the lead time
-
I've tried that as well, and still no luck
-
Exactly what i was looking for, thank you
Although i have the keyboard problem too, both via RDP and browser. I deleted the container and re-added as suggested, but no luck.
Is there anything else i can try?
Thank you,
Rich

I've just installed the plexWatch docker and have exactly the problem, has anyone found a solution to this?

SNAP
in Unscheduled
Will do, thank you

SNAP
in Unscheduled
I use a 'SNAP-ed' SSD for Docker and my VMs, so this would be really useful to be officially supported

Yes pls.

As of RC6A, auto start after booting is no longer an issue for me.

What was the error ?
Sorry, i'm away with work for a while now, so won't be able to help until i get back.
-
can you try this
/usr/sbin/openvpn --config /mnt/cache/VMs/Docker/Appdata/myVPNserver/openvpnserver.ovpn --script-security 2 --daemon
Then we might see what happens.
This didn't work for me.
The OpenVPN page still said not running, although Viscosity said it had connected, but i wasn't able to access anything.

No output from that command on mine
On the syslog posted there was a conflict with the VPN port 1194 preventing startup
Still checking my logs for errors, might reboot to make it easier to spot
I just tried port 1199 instead and same problem

Thats so weird, because when i manually click 'start' it works fine. Plus i don't think i have anything else running that would cause a conflict on that port

Sorry, where do i put it, my go script?

Well I just forced a new update for the container and that's sorted the problem. So thank you if any devs were responsible for the fix?
