  1. Hello I want to setup unraid on my windows server 2016 with hyper-v, but after unraid is installed it can't find the nic. it does have an IP from the APIPA protocol, but even when I set the ip and the gateway manually I can't connect to it. does anybody have a idea?
  2. hello since a couple of days now (3-4 days) my unraid server will kind of freeze. I cann't acces the webgui and my VM's are verry slow. when I plugged a monitor to the server I get many times the error Hangcheck: hangcheck value past margin! I need to hard reset the server in order to get it to work, but the weird thing is that it will only freeze in the evening. I'm running the unraid version 6.5.3 I always have 2 VM's running (1 ubuntu server pihole and 1 windows 10) I got the following dockers running: filebot, plex, transmission and handbrake I have seen some other older posts with the same error, but they said that the OC was the problem, but I can't even OC my cpu tower-diagnostics-20180628-1524.zip

  4. hello I have read to much today and I just want to check if the settings that I put in are correct/the best. I have 6 3 TB HDD and I use 2 of them for parity. and 2 256G SSD for parity cache disk I use my unraid server for Media center(plex)/Vm Windows/and other storage that's needs to acces by 4 other machines on the same time. I have the next shares in "use cache disk" set to "YES": appdata domains system The rest I have it set to "prefer". I also use the plugin "CA auto turbo write mode" installed. could somebody tell me if this is the best/optimised way to use my cache disks?

  6. Hello I'm currently running freeNAS and I do really like the speed, but I hate that the gui is so buggy and many other things like VM and the plugins are also very buggy. but I first want to try unraid in a VM so I can just try unraid without just going all in. but I can't find a iso file or an other way to install unraid on VMware. so is there a way to do this ?
