  1. So like many other threads I have read I and having similar issues seems like almost nightly I wake up to a froze webui and no access to ssh. So here is what is the weird thing. When the Webui stops responding, Plex is still running just fine and I can access any shared folder I have set. I can open ssh and send a Reboot and SSH shows it went through and is rebooting but the server never responds to it. The other weird thing is Ever time this has happened and I look at the monitor that is connected to the rack there is always something about CPULOAD on the screen. not sure what thats about. Now I do run a Ryzen 1700x on this and I am running build 6.3. I know I should go to 6.4 but I just can't figure out how without losing all the work I have put into this already with the dockers and plugins.   Could the Ryzen be causing this issue? Im not sure because of others who don't have this chip having the same issue.  I have my fix common problems in troubleshoot mode but what I'm afraid of is since the server never technically crashes.. will it see anything. To fix I have to hard shut down and reboot.  I will post Logs when I pull them. Thanks for anyone who can shed some light.

  2. I just had this same issue happen. I let it sit overnight and now when I wake up it says that I don't have an encrypted connection to the server and wants me to log back in. I force reset server and booted back up and it let me back in. Just weird that it randomly did this as it sat Idle. One thing I noticed I never seen before was on the screen I have hooked up to the server directly usually it just sits on a black screen showing Tower Login: but this time it said something about CPULoad blah blah blah Daemon something or other.. and then showed my IP address and IP range it was using.. But again. I just force shut down and back on and it let me back in. Any Idea why this might be happening?

  3. So again, another n00b question here. I have done research on what the cache drive does and how it works. I do understand the point and how it works but I can't seem to find a direct answer to a question that I have. So I will be running a Plex Media Server with my new unraid. I am going to be adding a 500gb SSD as the cache. But lets say I rip a movie and move it the Movie folder that I set to go to the Cache first. And lets say I'm watching this movie when the mover attempts to move the file to the array. Will the mover fail to move the file because it is in use? Will it Whack my stream because it will remove the file from the Cache location where the transcoder is transcoding from.. I just don't understand how the mover actually does the job. Can anyone shed some light on this.. Basically how does the mover interact to files in cache that are in use during the mover process.

    Thanks Y'all

  4. So like many I want to start with stating I am new to Unraid. Now that my n00b status is out there I am having issues with 2 new SSD's I have.  I have connected both to the board. They both show in unpaid with the unassigned device plugin. I have pre cleared both but I can not use the Format function to Side mount the drives. Any reason I can not? I click on the button that says Format and it lights up green but when I release the click it goes gray again.. Anyone have an idea as to why?
