  1. I assume that you are using the latest version of Deluge in unraid which is 2.x.x If so you should use this link https://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=55776&p=232351#p23235 to download the unofficial latest version of thin client to be able to connect to your unraid. The official version is not compatible with newer versions. Hope this helps.
  2. Thank you for your help, As far as I understand my main problem was not being to able to port forward. So I searched and found PrivateVPN which provides that option. I bought a 30 day trial period just to try with deluge but again I'm out of luck. I just changed the ovpn files and certificates and also used your new name_servers and activated Strict_port_forward, but again I'm not able to download. Probably there is more changes I should have done but not sure what to change without breaking the system completely. ok I tried to look more into it. As far as I understand PrivateVpn "servers with OpenVPN TAP + UDP" offers this for particular ovpn locations. When I try to use one these ovpn files. these errors come up on deluge log which prevents it from starting. 2021-01-04 17:20:34 WARNING: Compression for receiving enabled. Compression has been used in the past to break encryption. Sent packets are not compressed unless "allow-compression yes" is also set. 2021-01-04 17:21:39 --cipher is not set. Previous OpenVPN version defaulted to BF-CBC as fallback when cipher negotiation failed in this case. If you need this fallback please add '--data-ciphers-fallback BF-CBC' to your configuration and/or add BF-CBC to --data-ciphers. 2021-01-04 17:21:39 WARNING: file 'credentials.conf' is group or others accessible 2021-01-04 17:21:44 WARNING: --ns-cert-type is DEPRECATED. Use --remote-cert-tls instead. really not sure how to cope with these errors or if they are related at all. If I prefer a OPENVPN + TUN connection there all these errors go away but yet again I can't increase my download speed.
  3. Thanks for the answer I had done most of the bulletpoints previously but this time around I changed strict port forwarding to "no" and now I have great upload speeds but have 0 download speed. Also don't have much of a clue what to do regarding Name_Servers if anything is needed or not. If you have any further suggestions please help. 1 - I don't know what to do in order to define the incoming port correctly. I didn't change any major settings. As far as I know Surfshark(VPN service I use) doesn't support port forwarding but when I change the Strict_Port_Forward to "no" upload speeds are great but no download speeds. In supervised.log it says it is listening on port 58846( not sure if this is the incoming port or not) 2- - I tried both with 2/3 upload rate and unlimited upload rate. No luck there. 3- The VPN provider is already using the correct cipher as far as I know. 4- I didn't install the itconfig plugin but if its a must I can do that. 5- "Rate limit IP overhead" is unticked as advised 6- The disks don't have any fragmentation problem checked and verified. 7- Using the default Name_Servers as I mentioned not sure how to change or modify them. SHould I just add, ,8.8.8.8 at the end for google DNS or just delete all and only add 1 name. 8- I'm not using a mirrored cache pool. 9- My router is only a couple of months old so don't think it could cause this problem. Thanks again for your help and suggestions. P.s. I have noticed this error on deluge for most of the torrents, maybe its relevant. "Non-authoritative 'Host not found' (try again or check DNS setup)" Also some of the torrrents have Tracker Status: Error: "End of file" error
  4. First of all thanks binhex for such a good docker. About my problem, I've started using a VPN (Surfshark to be exact) for the last couple of weeks. In the first week I didn't seem to have any problem regarding the connection and especially the speed of the downloads. But for the last 2 weeks or so whenever I enable VPN my download speeds fall down to 30-40 Kib/s where it should be around 3 Mib/s. If I disable the VPN and restart the docker the speed increases back to normal. If then I re-enable VPN speeds decrease once again. I also speedtested same endpoints with same VPN provider on my windows computer and the speed results seems fine. I suppose there is something wrong in my prefences and/or config files. Can anyone offer any help. If any info is needed for me to share please let me know. Thanks.
  5. Hi everyone, I have been using Deluge for a long time now but have a question regarding the naming of the downloaded files. Is it possible to rename the folder and file names inside a torrent and continue to seed. I have downloaded a couple of films and I would like to remove some characters in the names. E.A. actual torrent name "Fast.and.furious.200x-DON" to "Fast and Furious 200x" both for the files and folder names. There is no problem while moving the folder but couldn't figure out a way to change the name of the file. If I change the name through SMB the seeding stops which I don't want. Thanks.
  6. Good day again, Does anyone have any suggestions regarding these problems it has become a great burden to constantly restart the docker and also refresh the files, I suppose there is a problem in the docker itself but I don't how to resolve it. Also, I have created some labels and categorized the torrents so don't want to lose them all by deleting the docker altogether. Thanks.
  7. Hi, Good day to everyone, I have two questions(problems) regarding Deluge on Unraid. Any suggestions will be really appreciated. My first problem started to appear after I tried to move a downloaded torrent to a different folder within the WebUI but I forgot about the uppercase and so deluge created a new folder with the same name. Even after I merged the folders "music" and "Music" there seems to be a consistent problem. Whenever I restart or "stop and start" deluge I can access Webui but it shows an empty UI, no torrents can be seen. Although I found a workaround it is really inconvenient to redo it eachtime. If I go to AppData - binhex delugevpn and delete the safe_state_check file and restart the WebUI it recreates the file and all my torrents reappear in the WebUI. Does anyone know how to fix this problem for good? The second problem can be also related to the first I'm not sure as I am a newbie but for example, after 3-4 days of constant seeding of the torrents delugevpn seems to lost connection to some of the tracker specific torrents. This also can be overcome after a restart of the container which also means that I have to delete the safe_state_check file and repeat the process for torrents to reappear. So if anyone has advice for any of the problems it will be really appreciated. Regards,
  8. Binhex, thank you for this great docker I have been using it for a long time and without any issues. Really appreciate it. However, I reside in Turkey and recently all OpenVPN servers were blocked as a government policy. So it seems that whatever I add as a VPN server the deluge can't find its way out. I'm currently using NordVpn as my VPN client and on my main computer and obfuscated servers are actually active. Is there a way to make deluge use these special servers or is my only option is to use the docker is without the VPN. I'm actually a newbie when it comes to these setting configurations and I would like to continue using VPN on the docker so if there is any other changes that I could make your help will be very much appreciated. Thanks, PS. Sorry if this was asked before I searched but couldn't find any related questions.
