  1. I've got a time machine share setup with a volume limit of 500,000MB but the share currently has 704GB of data, wondering if anyone has any experience / recommendations for the limit being ignored? Cheers Lee Adding additional information Mac - Time machine reports - 186GB of 498GB free Unraid - Time machine share reports - 2.05GB free, Share calcs as 704GB Unraid - Drive with share reports - 2.05GB free of 1TB drive
  2. Good news this time, I tried to be more systematic in how I approached this to try and figure out what was broken. So from a working state; - Added switched to opencore and booted to make sure it worked fine (it did) - Rolled back to the updated Clover qcow2 - Updated to UnRaid 6.8.3, VM now booted fine - Updated to Catalina 10.5.4, VM now booted fine So I'm now on 6.8.3 & 10.15.4 without issue. Without going back and doing more testing the thing seems to be having the updated clover during the update process has fixed the issue. No idea why that would be that case *shrug* Thanks a lot for your help, especially around the quick responses and generating the qcow files it saved me a lot of time. Can I tip you a coffee?
  3. So mixed news Firstly the qcow2 you generated, the VM started and Clover was updated so thanks for that it saved me a lot of time. Unfortunately no change to the behaviour. I've restored from a TimeMachine backup and the VM is running fine again now however I'm still stuck with the core problem that if I update UnRaid or Catalina it breaks the VM and both exhibit the same issue which I find confusing.
  4. Thanks, I'm guessing I can use the pre-macinabox spaceinvaderone videos guide how to go about this? I'll give this a crack tomorrow as it's night here :)
  5. I'm having some issues with my VM and I'm hoping someone can help me I've been happily running the VM for a while now but it doesn't seem to like upgrades First I tried going from UnRaid 6.8.2 to 6.8.3, once it was back up I couldn't get the VM to load properly anymore. It would open up but instantly it would peg it's first assigned core to 100%, it would slowly make it to the login screen with a graphical issue. If you type the password it would start loading and then just reboot. To fix this I rolled back to 6.8.2 and restored the instance from TimeMachine. Everything was ok... Until I tried to update Catalina to 10.15.4 (I was on the previous version 10.15.1?), after a restart it lets me know the update failed to apply and exhibits exactly the same behaviour. If I boot the VM into recovery mode it doesn't peg the CPU and works normally. edit: forgot to mention I'm not doing any GPU passthrough.
  6. Quick update, I tried removing the USB and running a repair, no issues where found and when Unraid comes up the error is still there. I'll try safe mode but that will require hooking up a monitor so will have to happen on another night.
  7. Thanks @bonienl I'll give that a try tonight.
  8. After Upgrading to 6.7 I have the following interface error showing up. This error could have been there the whole time and I just never saw it until the UI upgrade, everything appears to be running fine and my dynamix plugins are all up to date.
  9. Ahhh that makes sense why I couldn't find it. All solved now thanks and thanks bonienl
  10. Thanks, maybe I'm blind but where do I find this option?
  11. Hi, I'm trying to get PiHole running as per Spaceinvader One's video but in network type, I don't have the option to set a static IP I only get the bridge and host options. I've tried searching the forums and making a couple of the changes that I have seen in other threads but the solution still escapes me. I'm sure it's something simple that I am just completely missing. Thanks in advance
  12. Thanks, I manually added back the Dockers and VM and everything came back as it had before. No idea what went wrong 🤷‍♂️
  13. Hi, I recently updated to 6.6.7 from 6.6.6 and after the reboot my docker and VM tabs are empty. The first thing I have to admit is this update I applied the update but didn't restart unraid for a couple of days (got distracted during the update). - I've checked the libvirt.img & docker.img files are both where they should be - appdata is on the cache drive set to cache only - No changes were made to the config before the update I've got a backup from CA Backup but given everything appears to be working I didn't just want to start restoring and overwriting files. tower-diagnostics-20190330-2042.zip
