  1. Well, to be honest, I don't see that any other php plugins are running. Just yours. my php_errors.log file is interesting though... in that it is EXTREMELY huge. Here is a pastebin. http://pastebin.com/arLNBha6 As for template.php, it is untouched since the original install, but since an error on line 128 repeats thousands (ten's of thousands) of times, here is a pastebin to it as well. http://pastebin.com/ePVPN5Hq
  2. PHP doesn't seem to be working for me. After install, the web server seems to be functioning quite well, but I can't seem to get a simple php script to run. The result of <?php phpinfo(); ?> yields no results. Have I missed a simple step? Matt
  3. And the light bulb comes on... I NEVER saw the "use cache disk" setting. So I was having a hell of a time trying to figure out what I had to do to make the mover script work. It was driving me nuts. Like most things, its the simple stuff that is often most overlooked. Thanks dgaschk, thanks Joe.
  4. Joe thanks. You are very correct I will be in over my head. But, I only have to get it right once!
  5. I have searched and found an immense amount of data about mover scripts, but I have to admit that I am a complete moron as it pertains to linux. First, where is the mover script located? Second, wgat is the easiest way for me to edit it so I can make it do what I want it to do? Third, is it possbile to have specific directories on the cache drive moved to specific locations in the user shares? I truly appreciate the time that it takes to help a guy like me. Matt
  6. Yes, I did run the script, and just to be certain I re-ran the script... afterwards, I pulled my head out of my a$$ and started to remember a little code. ls -la told me that all but 3 user shares were read/writable to everyone... so I chmod 777 those shares. Now my only question is whether that will propagate after the next reboot. I suppose there is only one way to tell, but since it is up and running, why screw with a good thing.
  7. It seems that my problem could be an issue of permissions. Since everything on the server is classified as read-only. Is there a way that I can change this? My preference woud be to allow anyone to connect to the server, not just specified users.
  8. So, I recently upgraded from 4.7 to 5.14b. Previous to this I had 4.7 up an running without any issues. Since the upgrade, I can no longer copy data to the server, only from. I am all ears as to what I have done wrong. Probably something pretty simple, but I'm stumped... Thanks for your help TRP
  9. I have been trying to mount a 1TB drive that contains most of my media, so that I can rsync it into the array. I had done this previously without problem with the command... mount -r -t ntfs /dev/hdc /mnt/media Now, after having replaced the motherboard and stumbling through rebuilding a stable array to work from, I can not access the drive. Using the same command I receive the following output root@Server:~# mount -r -t ntfs /dev/hdc /mnt/media mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hdc, missing codepage or helper program, or other error In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try dmesg | tail or so dmesg | tail reveals root@Server:~# dmesg | tail md: recovery thread sync completion status: 0 mdcmd (24): spindown 0 mdcmd (25): spindown 1 mdcmd (26): spindown 2 mdcmd (27): spindown 2 mdcmd (28): spindown 2 NTFS-fs warning (device hdc): is_boot_sector_ntfs(): Invalid boot sector checksum. If I boot the computer into vista, I can access the data on this drive without any issues. Any ideas what I can do to mount the drive and access the files? syslog.txt
  10. All right, progress. I now have md2 back, BUT, md1 is still showing as unformatted. After running Joe's program, I get the following output for root@Server:/boot# unraid_partition_disk.sh -A /dev/sda ######################################################################## Model Family: Western Digital Caviar Green (Adv. Format) family Device Model: WDC WD20EARS-00MVWB0 Serial Number: WD-WCAZA5820109 Firmware Version: 51.0AB51 User Capacity: 2,000,398,934,016 bytes Disk /dev/sda: 2000.4 GB, 2000398934016 bytes 1 heads, 63 sectors/track, 62016336 cylinders, total 3907029168 sectors Units = sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes Disk identifier: 0x00000000 Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System /dev/sda1 64 3907029167 1953514552 83 Linux Partition 1 does not end on cylinder boundary. ######################################################################## ============================================================================ == == DISK /dev/sda IS partitioned for unRAID properly == expected start = 64, actual start = 64 == expected size = 3907029104, actual size = 3907029104 == ============================================================================ root@Server:/boot# Any ideas where I can go from here? My thought, is that since I DO have md2 back up and running, COULD I format md1, then rebuild it from the valid parity? Or is that a miserable idea?
  11. OK, tried it. And now here's what I get root@server:/boot# unraid_partition_disk.sh -A /dev/sdb /dev/sdb: No medium found sfdisk: cannot open /dev/sdb for reading Sorry: Device /dev/sdb is busy.: 0 According to unRaid /dev/sdb *should* be Disk2 (md2)... What am I doing wrong now?!?
  12. I have unzipped the program onto the flash drive, but can not seem to run it. I'm sure I'm missing smething small here... Do I need to do something special to run the script. Or from telnet should the following work? root@server:~# unraid_partition_disk.sh -A /dev/sda Because it keeps returning -bash: unraid partition disk.sh: command not found
  13. Ok, so here is where things become muddled... As I recall, I DID format them as 4k aligned. However, when I go to the main unRaid page and select a drive, they both tell me that they are unaligned. I believe that unRaid is wrong and that they are in fact aligned.
  14. I did previously run reiserfsck --check on both sda and sdb. I only ran reiserfsck --rebuild on sda. Neither of the WD EARS drives are jumpered. Matt
  15. 16. With respect, I did in my first post. Please see the attachment "fdisk results.txt" Matt
  17. I have recently had a motherboard die. Previous to it's demise, unRaid was functioning flawlessly. Since I have replaced it, my 2 data drives (sda and sdb) now both show as being unformatted. I could really use some help in getting the data accessible again on these two WD 2TB drives. I read through the thread recently posted http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=15385.0 regarding a similar issue, however the results of my testing as suggested by Joe was slightly different and, since I can't understand the results anyway, before I screw this up more I wanted to get people's input... (HELP JOE!!!!) For the sake of honesty, I contacted Tom initially - thank you Tom for your time, and he reccommended that I use the reiserfsck --rebuild function. Which I did on /dev/sda and it now has a different message from the test results, but still isn't functional. I do have a valid parity. Thanks, Matt syslog.txt reiserfsck_results_sda1_sdb1.txt reiserfsck_results_on_md1_md2.txt fdisk_results.txt
  18. Really no one has any ideas... So the only thing I can think of is that the previous array of WD EARS had an MBR that was aligned 4k. Now it is telling me that the MBR is unaligned... Does that mean that I will need to jumper the drives? Previously I had not jumpered anything. And if so, will the jumpering force UnRaid to recognize the file structure? I'm grasping at straws here...
  19. OK, I know that the drives are in the exact same order that they were before my motherboard replacement. I have sat through an entire parity check. And still both Disk1 and Disk 2 show that they are unformatted, moreover, I can not see or access any data on them. I need some real help here guys. Thanks in advance.
  20. So after replacing the motherboard, uneventfully, and getting the system up and running, I happened to find a screenshot that I had wisely taken right off the bat of the disk assignments. Sorta saved my bacon. However, now UR is showing that my 2 data drives are unformatted. This isn't even close to possible given that I had one parity and 2 data drives. By my misguided logic, that would mean that at most (if I somehow still assigned the wrong drive to parity) I could only have 1 drive that is unformatted... Please explain where I am wrong. Thanks, Matt
  21. My old motherboard has finally given up the ghost. I have ordered a new motherboard and with it CPU and RAM. What steps should be taken to replace the motherboard and maintain the array. Is it as simple as reinstalling all the hardware and uR will just blessedly remember what is what? Or are there more steps to it? I do not have the capacity to rebuild the data on these 3 drives... Yes, it is a small system, but to me, an important one. I appreciate any help and advice anyone can give me. 24. I've been trying to stream my music files from unraid to my Yamaha RX-A3000, but the receiver seems unable to see the server. My HTPC has no issues what-so-ever, nor does my laptop. I was wondering if using Twonky in the background might help with this? I have no experience using Twonky and am not sold that this is the magic bullet to my issue, so any guidance that can be given would be appreciated.
