    hi guys,

i've just noticed that i cannot access the webui, but oscam is working fine.

I tried to remove and reinstall the docker and change the webui port, no luck :(

    any thoughts?

Forget it. oscam.conf "serverip" was configured with 255.255.255.0

I'm pretty sure i did not change it :/

If the drivers are detected and loaded, there's very little I can do to control anything after that point, may be something to do with the kernel change from v6.6.6 to v6.7.0 as quite a lot has changed in the tree for the drivers since then.

Only thing I can suggest is, try CrazyCat and see if that's any better/working?

How is your card detected in v6.6.6?  As a Silicon Labs Si2168 & Conexant Systems, Inc. CX23885 PCI Video and Audio Decoder (rev 04)?

Only other thing I can think of is try a fresh setup of TVHeadend and see if that improves anything, also what version of TVH?  I've found 4.2 to be the most reliable.

    Hi CHBMB

    I will keep 6.6.6 for now....it's working fine and i don't mind waiting a bit for 6.7.1

Tried CrazyCat build, no luck  (but i'm not sure if it's supposed to work with dvb-c)

With 6.6.6, card is detected exact like 6.7.0, I'm running tvheadend version 4.3-1789, but never have any problem with it.

    Anyways, thanks for the reply!!

  3. Hi CHBMB,

Just upgraded to 6.7.0 (was working properly on 6.6.6...LIBRELELEC build)

After installing the plugin, my card is detected, but cannot tune anything on tvheadend (timeout error)

    Card model:

    Hauppauge WinTV-quadHD (DVB-C / DVB-T)

    Detected on unraid as:

Multimedia video controller: Conexant Systems, Inc. CX23885 PCI Video and Audio Decoder (rev 04)

    Plugin info:

Turns out cx2388x isn't the correct module at all, it's a completely different module to cx23885.  I hadn't activated a prerequisite for cx23885 to appear.  My bad, got some help from LibreELEC and got to say, don't think I would have spotted it without a second pair of eye.  v6.6.0 builds all updated now.

CrazyCat has removed his linux_media repo again, so I've done his build against the vanilla TBS linux_media.  Should work ok.

omg, thanks so much for your efforts on this. I really appreciate all your help - I know you had to go out of your way to get this information. Going to try it later and let you know.

I'm not sure about DVB-C, I was using the DVB-T tuners. DVB-T is currently working OK but not as good as I believe is possible due to an issue with the cx23885 code.

The following link discusses the issue and fixes have been upstreamed, but not sure when that will come through in a new unraid-dvb build

    https://github.com/b-rad-NDi/Ubuntu-media-tree-kernel-builder/issues/17

In the meantime, you could try this workaround to see if it helps. Add this to your append line in syslinux.cfg:

    cx23885.debug=5

    eg

    append initrd=/bzroot,/bzroot-gui cx23885.debug=5

It slows the cx23885 down a bit which assists with the timing issue, but fills your log file within a day or 2.

Thanks for this amazing tip!!!!!!!! Got a new quadhd and I lost 4 hours trying to get this thing work. When I configured the debug level, BANG!

    Hi,

I'm struggling to make the connection between my usb reader and oscam.

This is from Unraid system device:

    Bus 007 Device 002:

ID 076b:3021 OmniKey AG CardMan 3121

Added on Extra Parameters on oscam container:

Device seems to be detected inside container:

Now, i'm not sure how to configure the device on oscam configuration. Tried a few things with no luck:

    - /dev/bus/usb/007/002

    - 007:002

Ok, now it's working. Device should be "0" on oscam and protocol should be PCSC

    Hi, CHBMB

Can you think of any reason why LE 6.5.2-rc2 works on my Hauppauge 950q, but 6.5.2 doesn't?  With 6.5.2, the driver is loaded, the adapter is detected, but I get no signal when trying to tune a channel. Only thing I see is that the filesize of bzfirmware is 11M with 6.5.2-rc2 and 4.5M with 6.5.2.

Same here! Just tried with LE 6.5.2-rc2 and my tuner is back to business.

I copied the fw file to /boot/firmware/ and added to the script:

    #!/bin/bash

    # Start the Management Utility

    /usr/local/sbin/emhttp &

    #copy dvb fw

    echo "Copy fw" | logger

    cp /boot/firmware/*fw /lib/firmware/

But i cant find the 'dvb-demod-si2168-02.fw' on the /lib/firmware folder :(

    Any ideas?
