So I am in the process of shrinking my array due to two bad drives, and I am curious if I can abort the script and just remove the drives and rebuild parity instead because the script method has been running for almost 4 days (14 TB drive) now on the first drive, and I can't tell how much longer it will be.

Check/replace cables for disks 13 and 14, also a good idea to run a SMART long test on 13 at least, 14 is not giving a full SMART report.
Thank you for that. I checked the cables/connections and they were fine. I tried to run SMART tests on drive 13 and 14 and they both came back as “Failed in segment” and never completed the tests. Furthermore, I am going to assume they are bad/dead and need to be replaced.
Thanks again for your suggestions.

Follow the instructions in the link.
Thank you. Didn't realize it made that a link after I posted.

So my Parity Check started last night at 11pm Eastern. I checked it today, and it is going extremely slow for some reason compared to before. The last parity check a month ago took roughly 30hrs. Nothing has changed since the last parity check. Anything I should look into, and how do I get diagnostics to post them here for people to review?
Diagnostics attached

Hi,
I don't see a list of port forwarding servers in the supervisord.log.
How can I get it to show there?

Hard to say when I have no idea of how you want it to look like..
First of all, try "Help" function, by pressing... Help-button for Unraid.
Other than that, the "override" use should be left alone for the most part (it's there mainly for compatibility for earlier versions, or special use cases). Rather add/use several groups. Else you specify <rows * columns> and leave "override" at blank (it will calculate itself). Override is used to add "+X amount of trays" to existing ones in that group, I don't think this would be so useful for most anymore.
So ex. 6 rows * 6 columns would give you 36 trays.
This is the post I'm trying to replicate:

you need to download the latest docker image, you are using the old one, do a 'force update'
Thank you. That's what I originally did after removing the test tag but I just did it again and it is working now.

Good morning.
So I removed the test tag as recommended and add the new next-gen ovpn config file as well. It is still having trouble connecting.
My log file is attached and it keeps saying the following:

Thank you for the reply. I guess if I want to use a different board, I need to reach out to ASRock to see if there is a special BIOS for that board specifically.
-
What BIOS version are you on the AsrockRack board? None of them show as having support for iGPU or is it that all C246 chipset AsrockRack boards support iGPU?

@Geran just give the instructions in that thread a try and report back if you have any issues. Multiple people in that thread had success with Plex and QuickSync with IPMI onboard.
Hi,
So I tried this and everytime I turn on Hardware transcoding it kills the Plex Media Server application.
-
So I have a Xeon E-2176g and Supermicro X11SCZ-F motherboard. Reading the first post, it mentioned that if the board has IPMI than it getting Quick Sync to work wouldn't be possible.
I'm assuming my configuration falls within that category and if it does, is there any way to get it working?
-
I'll look into that. Thank you for the suggestion.

What is she using to stream? Smart TV or setup top box?
Amazon FireTV cube over WiFi since the wired connection is slower than WiFi. We use the native Plex app and everything direct plays.

It might help us if you explain what you use your unRAID server for? Simple file storage, media serving with something like plex etc.
My apologies. It will be used as simple file storage and serving files to a bare metal Plex server. There is a small chance to run some Linux VMs on it train for work related tasks but that would be down the road sometime.
I'm currently using Sonarr, Radarr, Nextcloud, Sabnzbd and Unmanic (this is the one that prompted my too consider upgrading). When things are running on the server and the wife tries to stream, it causes issues with Plex saying the read speeds are too slow to get a quality stream and then it starts buffering really bad.

I'm in the process of updating my Unraid server and looking at one of the options below. My current setup is an X9SCM w/ E3-1280v2 and 32GBs of RAM.
Option 1
CPU: Intel E-2176G (6 cores, 12 threads)
Motherboard: Supermicro X11SCZ-f
Option 2
CPU: 2x Intel E5-2620v3 (12 cores, 24 threads)
Motherboard: Supermicro X10DAi
Option 3
CPU: 2x Intel E5-2696v3 (36 cores, 72 threads)
Motherboard: Supermicro X10DAi
They will all use one LSI 9211 card and at least two Oracle F80's.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! -
What CPUs are people using and what is the average time it is taking you to convert files?

How do I load this docker?

What PSU would you guys recommend for 24 non-green drives (7200rpm)?
