  1. I'm experiencing the same issue now with my ASUS B550 Gaming-E chipset. I tried everything you mentioned. Also running 6.8.3 and tired upgrading to 6.9 beta but it still didn't work. My chipset has Intel's I225-V ethernet controller which Unraid supposedly supports yet no NIC is found. Could there be some other issue between Unraid and the ethernet controllers on the B550 chipsets? tower-diagnostics-20200630-1756.zip
  2. I copied and replaced all bz* files from 6.9 beta over to the usb key. Still showing the "IPv4 not set". I attached diagnostics again. What else can I do? tower-diagnostics-20200630-1756.zip
  3. Thanks for the help. Can you point me in the right direction to update Unraid without losing any data? Do I create a new usb key?
  4. I recently upgraded my i7 intel chipset to an ASUS B550 Gaming-E with a Ryzen 7 3700x in my and now I get an "IPv4 not set" when booting Unraid. I am unable to access the server using "https//tower". The Asus B550 Gaming-E uses the Intel I225-V ethernet controller and it appears Unraid 6.8.3 has support for this controller. I tried using a few different USB ethernet hubs with no luck. I've wasted a lot of time trying to fix this. Help would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully I made a simple mistake. Attached are my diagnostics. tower-diagnostics-20200630-0501.zip
  5. Sorry for the newb questions. So I cannot make a cache pool with a 250GB and 500GB SSD giving me 750 usable disk space? I'm assuming "single" means one single disk?
  6. Thanks for clearing this up. I realized my cache pool was in RAID1. I was hoping to have a full 750GB of usable data with no redundancy. I guess this isn't possible with RAID0.
  7. I just followed Space Invaders tutorial on making a cache pool.. Can different sized disks in a cache pool create issues? Diagnostics attached. tower-diagnostics-20190727-1531.zip
  8. I'm having a rough time trying to solve my issues which is a two part problem and I desperately need help so I can access my VMs. 1) My VMs are all pausing as soon as they boot to the operating system. Every once in awhile they will load the desktop. VMs are in domains on the cache. According to the main page I've used 558GB out of 750GB. Am I creating instability by using too much disk space? 2) I had previously had my VIDEOS and PICTURES shares selected to "yes" for writing to cache. I then changed them both to "no" thinking that all files would be transferred to the array once the mover started. I guess this is not so. How do I go about moving what's on the cache to the array so I can free up space? I can't seem to locate my cache drive using Krusader. Nothing shows up under the /mnt directory. To add to the confusion, after taking a look at my shares on the cache, they don't add up to 558GB (3.02GB + 283GB + 1.29GB + 3.95GB = 291.26GB). Please help me understand what's going on here. What is the best course of action? Thanks in advanced for the help.
  9. Is there something I need to do differently than what trurly said above, in order to migrate data off the disk?
  10. So there is probably a simple solution to my issue but I don't want to screw something up and lose data. Here's my situation: I have two 4TB drives and one 4TB parity drive in my array. I have an old WD 1TB drive which I added to the array but decided to take take it off the array as I want it to be an mounted device. I did this by stopping the array and unselecting the drive. The array now shows a missing device. I believed some data was written to the 1TB drive while on the array. Do I need to rebuild the array from the parity drive? I'm a bit new in my understanding of Unraid. Thanks
