Thanks for the reply. I did update all dockers and plugins to the latest versions before updating the OS so it must be something else. the latest versions of the dockers are all running on v6.9.2 at the moment with no issues. I am happy to stay on v6.9.2 but I'm intrigued as what breaks in the config after updating the OS especially seeing as just reverting with no other steps fixes it

Hey fellas, I rarely update my unraid server because of the old saying "if it aint broke dont fix it". But i had a couple of new drives to install so thought I might as well. After updating from v6.9.2 to v6.11.5 sonarr, radarr and plex all would not allow connections to the webgui (ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED) every other docker worked as normal after the update. After trying a few things like changing DNS and reinstalling dockers, restored appdata. I still couldnt get those three dockers to work on v6.11.5 so ive reverted to v6.9.2 and all is well again. Is there a known issue or something i have to change in config to avoid breaking these things when i update? EDIT: I've attached diagnostics from v6.11.5 where it wasnt working and v6.9.2 where the three dockers all work. Thanks mate unfortunately I’m at a loss at where to start with rebuilding the cache. I assume illl lose all my dockers etc?

just to add since I put the usb drive back in the server and restarted it, all my docker containers are missing so its looking more and more likely that the boot usb is corrupted somehow. the data seems to still be intact im really not sure how to proceed and protect my data.

So as it turns out I can still access the console when it crashes but if I use the diagnostics command it doesn't write the zip file to the usb. Also when I plug the usb into a windows pc it prompts me that there is a problem with the drive etc. but I can still access the files. Could the problem be that the usb drive has become corrupted? I also can run memtest if I try to the system reboots.

No worries I’ll do this first and report back. im also running a fairly outdated bios which I’ve avoided updating because it needs to be done from windows for some rediculous reason so I’ll boot a windows live and do that as well. thanks

Hello, ive had my unraid server running with few complications for about 18 months now, until last night. the server became unresponsive couldn’t access webgui or ssh so I had to do a forced unsafe shut down which got the server back up for about 30 minutes and the same thing happened again, so I decided to plug in a screen and have a look at unraids console which I then I found that I couldn’t because the server was displaying the post screen and not unraids console. So I had to do an unsafe shutdown again and the problem recurred within about 30 minutes. im not sure how to trouble shoot this one because when it crashes I can’t access the console to save the logs. I really don’t want to keep shutting down the server because I don’t want to risk my data. this problem seems to have developed on its own without any config changes so I am unsure as to whether it is a software or hardware problem. any suggestions on how to proceed? I am opened to a fresh copy of unraid as long It is possible to keep all data intact and some of the docker config. thankyou in advance.

I’m trying to set up shinobi as a CCTV option on my unraid server but for whatever reason it cannot Access my onvif IP cameras it just doesn’t find any. i assume this is because docker containers can’t access devices on the local network, is there anyway to allow this to happen? sorry for posting in here but there isn’t a support thread for the docket container

thanks for the reply the system won't reboot from command line or through the webgui, it says it is going down for a reboot but never does is there another option to shutdown or will I have to cut the power and hope nothing gets corrupted?

Hey, so tonight my partner told me that Plex stopped working and I thought it must just be a network issue but when I checked on Unraid all my dockers were broken, there's no listed shares and problem a lot of other problems. I am at a loss as to what happened but I have about 28tb of data in limbo if I can't figure it out, my best guess is there is a problem with the cache drive but I'm not completely sure. So i got it to work. Even though the rx580 isnt my primary GPU i passedthrough a BIO in the VM template and that did the trick Thanks

Hey, I have a windows 10 VM with my GPU passthrough drivers install ok but I can get the GPU tool (for OCing, fan speed etc) to open... im new to VMS is this a VM thing do utilities like this simply not work?

UPDATE: I wanted to confirm the GPU wasn't dead so I installed it in another system drivers installed fine. Tried fully updating the windows install. Ran AMD Driver clean tool. Still crashing host system at the same point.
