  1. Two weeks of uptime on the new flash drive, looks like that was it.
  2. Support assisted with a license transfer, now at 3 days uptime on new flash drive.
  3. Submitted reset request to support, now waiting on reply.
  4. Are you able to reset my license? I did transfer from my license from the old server to this new server over the weekend and I'm currently ineligible to use different flash drive currently.
  5. Looks like it dropped again, license file missing and the USB drive now listed under Unassigned Devices. Diagnostics attached as well. serenityv2-diagnostics-20240423-1026.zip
  6. No USB 2.0 ports on the server, moved drive from a 3.1 Gen 2 port to standard 3.0 and rebooted. Now showing up again, lets see if it stays online.
  7. I'm in the process of replacing my aging server that uses an ancient Norco 4220 to a "new to me" QNAP 1U. My old server is stuck in the 6.10.x version after three upgrade attempts all failed with a list of issues, so I'm going full fresh install/migration. My license is still attached to the old server and I have been using a trial/temp license on the new server until all data is transferred and docker containers reconfigured. Unfortunately, I keep getting errors that the USB flash drive on the new QNAP either is bad/corrupted or the trial license is missing. Generally a reboot fixes the issue and the server can run for about a day before it happens again. I would try migrating to a new USB drive but since its a trial, you can't, its tied to the original flash drive and that's it. Oddly, when the flash drive shows as missing/corrupt, its listed under Unassigned Devices, so the server still sees it connected. Attached are two different diagnostic files from when this happens. serenityv2-diagnostics-20240415-2201.zip serenityv2-diagnostics-20240417-1042.zip
  8. I've restored to a new flash drive and activated it, everything seems OK so far, albeit still on 6.10.3
  9. I upgraded using the Update OS option after running the update assistant. I only had 3 warnings on plugins that were no longer supported on 6.12.x.
  10. Over the weekend I attempted to upgrade from 6.10.3 to 6.12.6 and it went terribly. The server would hard freeze anywhere between 30 seconds to 3 minutes after boot. Trying safe mode did the same thing, although it did seem the server would stay online until I tried logging into the web interface. It took numerous attempts but I was able to get one diagnostic file while on 6.12.6. I've rolled back to 6.10.3 using a flash backup taken before the upgrade, although I had to use the manual copy files over+makeboot.bat process as the server didn't see the USB drive as bootable when using USB Creator tool. The server has been up for about 5 days now and last night I got the warning the USB Flash drive is corrupted or missing. So far all my docker containers and VM's appear to be running, but I can't access any file shares. I also had similar issues when trying to upgrade to 6.11.X over a year ago, hence why I'm still on the older 6.10. Attached are diagnostics from today (6.10.3) and the upgrade attempt (6.12.3) Server is a bit older SuperMicro X11SSH-F i3-7100 LSI SAS 2008 card Mix of drives connected to MB and SAS card Norco 4220 case (old as hell) diagnostics-6.10.3-20231207-1536.zip diagnostics-6.12.6-20231201-1803.zip
  11. I've been receiving Out of Memory Errors on my server for a bit now. They may have started once I upgraded an UniFi docker container but that may be coincidental timing. Attached is my support diagnostics for troubleshooting. serenity-diagnostics-20230813-0948.zip
  12. System has been stable since my last post. Still on 6.10.3 and now a bit leery of even trying 6.11.X. Here is that command that was requested: root@Serenity:~# df -h / Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on rootfs 7.8G 859M 6.9G 11% /
  13. Fixed the appdata issue, here is a newer diagnostic. serenity-diagnostics-20221123-1343.zip
