  1. upgrading from 7.1 to 7.1.1 and then to 7.1.2 has been fine.
  2. upgraded to v7.1 stable from 7.0.1. 265K iGPU is finally shown. Did have an issue with onboard NIC disappearing with the upgrade. Thank god for wifi support and mobo with wifi. Was able to get online and reinstall the RealTek 8125 driver again. Not sure why the driver disappeared with doing the upgrade. Thought it was worth mentioning.
  3. Has anyone tried to pass through an onboard thunderbolt port to a virtual machine. i.e. to connect an eGPU? Thought it would be a bit more power efficient than having the GPU in the Unraid box as I can switch off the eGPU. I am just starting to configure my new raid box.
  4. Thanks that did the trick. Are they any other setting for power saving or virtualisation that I should check?
  5. Does anyone else have an ASUS Prime Z890-P WIFI motherboard or similar? I have a very trivial issue with automatically booting from the USB. I am running the latest BIOS version, 1601. I have configured the boot priority to be the USB drive. However with a cold boot, it will not boot off the USB. However, if I press F4 to enter UEFI boot. It boots fine and the get the Unraid boot menu. I have tried, every BIOS boot setting including disabling the boot priority and reenabling it. Any thoughts? It seems like a bug with the BIOS.
  6. With the non-K version (65W) of the processors out and the T versions (35W) coming. All at much the same cost of the K (125W) version. Is it still worth getting the K version? Is the PL1/PL2 TDP setting much the same?
  7. Could someone share the custom kernel files with me too. I am too about to pull the trigger on building an arrow-lake system
  8. What is the power consumption like with 'Arrow Lake'? There seems to be 245T/265T/285T 35W CPU's coming, not like they will be much cheaper. Am I right in saying by setting the PL1/PL2 in the BIOS you can get the same lower power consumption results? Also stability for those running on the 6.12 kernel with 7.0
  9. Thanks for the update. How are you using the eGPU? I was considering using an eGPU enclosure that I have. Primarily for a VM. to do occasional game streaming. Rather than installing the card in the Unraid box to save power.
