I would love a lancache step by step! That would be huge.

Try a
cd /mnt/disk4 du -sh *
should give you an idea of how much data is there, at a minimum
Enabling shares shouldn't be an issue, at worst some files/folders will be 'hidden' if present in the source and destination disks (not sure if you did a move or copy)
Not sure what you mean by "a lot of data is missing", that's something you need to figure out first.
Sorry. No data is missing, its just not under the user share. I did a move. Ill try enabling the share...hopefully you guys are right!
That looked to work. Thanks all. I just wanted to double check. Thanks for the responses.

I have not. I'm nervous to overwrite data by mistake.

Hi, unbalance works at disk level not user share level.
If you check the disks individually, is the data there ?
Yes.
How do I move that data back to its user share if the data is already on that drive? Not sure what the next steps would be to relink.

Hello!
So...I made a mistake this past weekend. I was replacing a drive with smart errors. So, I installed some new drives, added them to my array and started a scatter from bad drive to disk 4 and 5...the new ones. Only to see that I did not include the drives in my 'Global User Shares'
😞
So...I am missing lots of data in my user shares. I can see that my data did move because the drives are full but I'm not sure what the next step would be. I stopped the array and wondering if I should start in Maintenance mode - to see if the data is intact?
Thoughts? Ideas?
Thanks!

Thanks guys ❤️
Using the official Repo + double checking all the steps and finally adding this NVIDIA_DRIVER_CAPABILITIES. Did the trick.
Again, thanks for holding my hand.

Isn't dopu self explanatory? 😂 It should have been saying you.
We can't read your mind, so you need to post the docker run command and also what you do and where the error message pops up.
root@localhost:# /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/scripts/docker run -d --name='plex' --net='host' -e TZ="America/Los_Angeles" -e HOST_OS="Unraid" -e 'VERSION'='docker' -e 'NVIDIA_VISIBLE_DEVICES'='all' -e 'NVIDIA_DRIVER_CAPABILITIES'='all' -e 'TCP_PORT_32400'='32400' -e 'TCP_PORT_3005'='3005' -e 'TCP_PORT_8324'='8324' -e 'TCP_PORT_32469'='32469' -e 'UDP_PORT_1900'='1900' -e 'UDP_PORT_32410'='32410' -e 'UDP_PORT_32412'='32412' -e 'UDP_PORT_32413'='32413' -e 'UDP_PORT_32414'='32414' -e 'PUID'='99' -e 'PGID'='100' -v '/mnt/user/media/Movies/':'/movies':'rw' -v '/mnt/user/media/TV Shows/':'/tv':'rw' -v '':'/music':'rw' -v '/mnt/cache/plextrans':'/transcode':'rw' -v '/mnt/user/media/Comedy/':'/comedy/':'rw' -v '/mnt/user/appdata/plex':'/config':'rw' --runtime=nvidia 'linuxserver/plex'

That looks correct. What doesn't look correct is your transcode bind mount. You have mapped /config/transcode on unraid, which is not a user share in unraid so it gets created in ram. Dopu should fix that.
You can also tr to add a new variable for NVIDIA_DRIVER_CAPABILITIES and set it to all and see if that changes anything.
Wherever I set it I get this:
what(): Codecs: Initialize: 'boost::filesystem::temp_directory_path: Not a directory: "/mnt/cache/plextrans"'
I've tried my appdata folder and my media folder where tv and movies are. Both say the above error.
What is "Dopu?"
Thanks again for helping me.

Post your docker run command and a screenshot of the Nvidia plugin page.

Did you enable hardware acceleration in plex settings and do you have plexpass?

Hello,
Been working on this all morning...started with Space Invaders guide..then followed this thread and everything looks great on my end. Do you guys have any ideas why my transcoding is not being picked up by my m4000?
I've also tried setting NVIDIA_VISIBLE_DEVICES = all
