  1. @SpaceInvaderOne Sorry to bother you with this. No one has responded to this query yet and I am at a loss. I did a reinstall of the app and before I could configure it I decided to run a test and see if it was any of my settings, but it's the same. As soon as the docker is turned on, the memory use cranks up pretty fast and reaches 99% before the server becomes unresponsive. I am running Unraid 6.12.8 now and the problem has not changed.
  2. @trurl I thought I had thanked you for your attention and for your assistance in resolving this issue. My apologies for missing that. I hope all is going well for you. Cheers
  3. Hi everyone I shall be grateful if you could assist me fixing an issue I encountered when reinstalling Shinobi (it died about a year ago, and I had no time to fix). I followed the instructions from @SpaceInvaderOne. All was well, and then my server didn't respond. After a lot of trials and tribulations I was able to spot that all my ram was being consumed by the docker (all 128GB). I am recording to a 2TB HDD 2.5" over a GB network switch independent from the home network switch. The settings of my camera are as per the attached image (all 8 of them are the same). All of the settings provided by @SpaceInvaderOne were applied to the Shinobi server and streams. It works for a few minutes and you can see the ram being chugged away and then reaches 99% and the server becomes non-responsive. I have very very little experience with Linux and was thinking I could complete this project; obviously I hit a wall. Thanks for your assistance.
  4. I just did, this time there is an error message when trying to install the plugin:
  5. This is my IP to the router; in the tutorials we are told to put this IP as the DNS Server... or did I get that wrong as well?
  6. Hello folks @trurl and @Squid would you have had the chance to check what I did wrong through the diagnostics please? thanks
  7. Thanks Trurl, I changed the IP address according to the Wikipedia page and my shares have reconnected. My DuckDNS docker is able to connect to the internet, but the installation of the Community Applications still hangs just like before, even after a reboot! I have attached the latest diagnostics below in case you get the chance to take a look. Thanks for your help. cloalserver-diagnostics-20210717-1723.zip
  8. Hi Trurl Thanks a lot for that information, how do I determine what is usable or not please? Trial and error will be a lengthy and tedious exercise... Thanks
  9. Hello guys, thanks a lot for getting back to me so quickly. I was really busy with work, finally got the time to download the diagnostics as per below. Thanks again for looking into this... The IP Range I selected does not seem to be within the acceptable ones, so I guess I might have to rechange these again 😔 cloalserver-diagnostics-20210713-2243.zip
  10. Hello everyone I need your assistance please. I changed router recently and I also changed my IP range (was told to do so for security reasons). I changed it from the usual 192.168.0.1XX to XX.XX.XX.XXX. I was able to get my server connected to the router and the network. I can access the web gui via my laptop and I can use some dockers and some VMs... However, I needed to reset some Dockers due to their IP settings and I think I messed things up; I also removed community applications 😬. I have been trying to reinstall it using the post from Squid271 but my server appears to have lost its connection to internet as the install launches but then stays hanging: My second issue is that all my share are present on the Server and I can browse them via the web gui but all access from another device does not work; from windows it's the usual cannot access as you do not have permission (but my shares are all public on the network).... I would be happy to reset some settings and rebuild some the shares and dockers; I would also prefer not to do another reinstall... Thanks in advance for your help. Cheers
