  1. On another note after looking through some of this I do have a Xeon Platinum 24 core and the Supermicro X11SPA-T motherboard, this maybe a better route instead of AMD.
  2. This is a brilliant response and tbh the direction I would probably prefer to go to have more control its just the learning curve, you have convinced me it could be easier so I'll get the coffee on! Cheers much appreciated.
  3. Hi all, anyone successfully used an AMD EPYC Rome CPU, aiming to build a machine that will host 6 MacOS VM's, the EPYC provides more than I can get anywhere else all VM's with 128GB ram. Thanks in advance for any pointers
  4. Posted this in the wrong area earlier, Hi, before I splash out on building this I wanted to try and flesh out the compatibility first. im building a 7 GPU machine for animation and wanted to be able to pass through all 7 to one VM (Windows is definitely able to accept this, mac I think is troublesome) ill be using a server grade motherboard with dual xeon and 7 x16 slots (all with relevant lanes from the dual cpu) so my question is has anyone done more than 1 GPU to a VM and has anyone tried with mac? Also interested in Linux options to if it’s been tried? Thanks in advance for any help.
