  1. So I have a similar problem. I get the SESSION ERROR issue but it's only under the following situations when I'm trying to set up a reverse proxy: - I use my domain name for the Server Network Settings - Hostname/IP Address - I use a custom network rather than bridge Under these situations, I can get to the admin page from my domain or from my home network url:943. However, if I try to login to the admin page, it fails with the SESSION ERROR and the vpn service does not work. If I revert to using my home IP and BRIGE, everything pretty much works (though of course I'm not using the reverse proxy. The three console commands posted above did not work for me. [as an aside, using the INTERFACE variable seems to do jack and shit] [as a further aside the fucking invalid certificate errors that seem to keep me from using chrome to access the site are annoying AF]
  2. So that seems to be working but the download is still failing. I have manually downloaded the files. Is there any way for me to keep the docker from overwriting the info in the data file? Alternatively, can I do a manual extraction to overwrite the files? I can't figure out the directory structure to do it thus far...
  3. So if I reinstall, that will pull your August commit?
  4. I can't get the WebUI to open up. I keep getting failures when I am running the import. Not techie enough to sort it out... I attached the log. Do I need to expand the size of my docker? Mine is 10 gig. I have 2 TB on my cache drive so it isn't like I don't have a ton of room. EDIT: Well it looks like part of the problem - if not THE problem - is that the downloads keep failing from Musicbrainz.org. I'm not getting full downloads ever - especially the 3.5 and 2 GB files. I have tried just downloading manually through a browser and these files fail consistently. I am now trying to download via an ftp program and that seems to be working better. It reconnects when there is a disconnect and doesn't just end the download. Not sure how the docker is going to deal with the import already being ready. We'll see.... MusicBrainzLog.txt
  5. Does anyone have post processing scripts working through NZBGet yet? I keep getting the following errors: Post-process-script nzbToSickBeard.py for [perfectly legal downloaded material] failed (terminated with unknown status) nzbToSickBeard: python2: error while loading shared libraries: libpython2.7.so.1.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory So I thought the simple answer was that the postprocessing scripts (nzbtomedia) couldn't use the python stored in the Phaze Common directory. Sadly, not that simple. I installed python in it's typical location and still no love. (so two python installs - one /usr/bin and one Phaze Common) Interestingly, sabnzbd has no problem. Must be somehow calling the scripts differently. Anyone else have this issue? EDIT: I seem to have a temporary solution to the problem. I added the following lines to my /etc/ld.so.conf file: /mnt/cache/.PhAzE-Common/usr/bin /mnt/cache/.PhAzE-Common/usr/lib64 (not sure if this line is necessary, but it didn't screw anything up...) then I ran ldconfig in telnet. Fixed the problem and now processing working. Now I need to figure out some way to automate appending those lines on reboot. Still, success for now...
  6. Thanks - that was definitely the issue. Since the issue is actually sickbeard, running on my unraid server, does unraid have a host file as well?
  7. LOL - Huh? I'm on a home LAN. I asume my 2wire gateway is doing the DNS though I know I sometimes have trouble with the DNS on my Mac laptops. However, this problem must be related to either sickbeard, Windows 7, unraid or my 2wire gateway. Not sure at all which...
  8. Well that's kind of what I thought. But I don't really know WHY I'm getting this error. That being said, I think I resolved it. I changed Sickbeard to use an IP address rather than the machine name for communication. The error has since stopped. Not sure why that fixes things, but don't argue with success I guess...
  9. I get this error constantly: unRAID python: gethostby*.getanswer: asked for "htpc.gateway.2wire.net IN AAAA", got type "A" I have no idea what the heck this is or how to fix it. htpc is the name of my, well HTPC (a win7 machine running XBMC). I have a 2wire gateway as my router/modem. Does anybody know what this is all about?
  10. Nevermind, the issue was all related to a bad sector on my flash drive. I shutdown, pulled the flash drive and stuck in a Windows machine. I corrected the errors and then viola. Problems solved. Thanks.
  11. So I rebooted my unRAID server to install some fans and when I booted back up, the other computers are no longer able to connect to the Samba shares. This is affecting both Mac and PC computers. I can ping the sever name "unRAID". I can ping the IP address. I can connect to the server via the web address. I can connect to the AFP shares from Mac clients. I just can't connect to the server via Windows Explorer/Finder. Finder just states "connection failed." If I try to use Connect to Server on mac, I get "The file server will not allow any additional users to log on. Try to connect again later" Windows explorer says "Windows cannot access //UNRAID" If I diagnose the problem, it says "The remote device or resource won't accept the connection" I have a pretty default setup for the most part. I use Workgroup settings. I use a local master (but not using it doesn't fix it). Anyone else have this problem??? No idea why the reboot would have created such havok...
  12. I was thinking about adding an SSD for just the reasons you mentioned. I was going to include it in the array though. Since I don't really care about write speeds anyway, it gives me peace of mind. Further, it's easy enough to exclude the disk from all the shares except the Thumbnails one.
  13. 2 questions which I can't seem to find from my web searching (mostly because I pull up the wrong topics). 1) Can you add a flash drive as an array disk? I have a very specific plan - use it to store the XBMC thumbnails. 2) Can you create a shared drive from RAM? In other words, load the thumbnails into the unRAID box RAM and share this? Thanks!
  14. Holy crap... Thanks for your help! (walking away ashamed...)
  15. Pretty simple stuff. 5 2TB shared drives. 1 2TB parity drive. 1 2TB cache drive. All shares high water, all 0 Min. free space, Split level blank save as mentioned below, included disk are disks 1-5 except as mentioned below. I don't use the cache disk for any of them yet. My TV/Other TV/Sons of Anarchy...split level 2 My Movies/Family Movies/Bolt (2009)...split level 2 My Music/Stephen Lynch/Craig Machine/... Downloads/Complete/... XBMC..disk 1 only Most of the new stuff is added to Downloads initially and then moves to the TV folders. All of them are getting added to disk 3. Current disk stats: disk1 45.83 GB free disk2 64.26 GB free disk3 1.19 TB free disk4 2 TB free disk5 2 TB free I'm kind of curious if I shouldn't be creating the folders (e.g. My TV/Family TV) on disk 4 and 5. I did read in the wiki the example they gave was that it waits until 1/2 the drive is full but they didn't really say if that was the default or even how you would set that up. Any help would be appreciated.
  16. Sorry, I meant to add that I am using the default High Water. Min. Free space is 0.
  17. So I added 2 new drives without incident (4 and 5), precleared both, then added. Everything looks good with all disks running, no issues. The problem is, new files are still going to the first 3 drives. Not sure why this is. My share settings was initially setup with "included disks" blank, I went ahead and hard coded "disk1,disk2,disk3,disk4,disk5". Similarly, I went into each of my shares I want to spread across the raid and selected "disk1,disk2,disk3,disk4,disk5" for the included disks. No dice. The server has been rebooted several times since with no change. I'm considering running a parity check to see if that makes a difference but of course that's a 5 hours jobbie... Any thoughts?
