  1. I had a problem the other day where my network connection went into a blocking state. (This has now happened twice when I had wireguard configured, but I've not yet assigned blame - different story). Luckily I was home when it happened overnight and so I could just go in and reboot manually via the gui in the server room. But what would happen if this happens and I'm away on holiday? The server does seem completely fine, except that I can't reach it via SSH or the WEB GUI. Would a second NIC help to login via should the main enter blocking state? Any ideas or suggestions?
  2. The RC seems to have fixed it.
  3. Hi, I've seen a few threads here asking about this problem, but I'm not seeing a solution. Can somebody point me to it please? Here is the breakdown: I spent some time watching Spaceinvader's vids on optimising and setting up Unraid. I've pointed containers to the flash, installed fix command problems, stuff like that. Overall I'm very happy with my box performance over all. Except, somewhere along the line, Live TV & DVR in Plex is killing me. It's buffering and constantly saying "weak signal". I'm using a Zgemma H902. 1. I've checked the Zgemma at the tv point. It's fine and performant. 2. I've shut down all containers apart from Plex. I'm currently running the container from Plex-inc, but its the same on Binhex-plexpass. 3. I am running 2 linux vm's in the background. To help investigate this I stopped the Plex container, started it, tried a live tv stream for a minute, then: 1. dumped Plex logs. 2. dumped unraid system logs I've attached these both. Just to note, I'm not seeing ANY spikes on cpu, and this is Plex Media Server Logs_2019-10-14_07-33-44.zipinternal, using various clients. tower-diagnostics-20191014-0635.zip
  4. Oh interesting! Ok, so effectively I'd need to buy one with dual LNB which will be installed at the dish point and then that will feed to the 2 single LNB systems in the different rooms?
  5. Hi The question might be phrased badly, but here goes. I recently moved into a place where there are no cables and I'm not allowed to lay anything that would ruin the ascetic..... Problem: I want to put two of my rooms on Airbnb with a TV option, however I don't want to drill and run cable for the tv. Additional info: I have Plex running on Unraid and I have a zgemma satellite receiver for live tv. However I don't necessarily want to give this to a tenant / lodger because I don't want to share my movie collection. (also, it's only a single tuner so I won't be able to share.) Next step: Buy a dual lnb ZGEMMA so I can get 2 signals. Question / Problem: What is the best option to stream the ZGEMMA's to the 2 remaining TV's? What is the best smart tv player / receiver? Should I run it via Plex (I can setup multiple dvr's,) but how do I only let them receive the live tv/dvr option?
  6. Hi people. CA's fix common problems is warning me about the following (3 warnings, no errors) irq 16: nobody cared found on your server No idea what that means. But attached is my diagnostics. What should I do? Kind Regards, Geo tower-diagnostics-20190907-2016.zip
