  1. forget it, I am downloading a different container, need to get the ball rolling...
  2. I can't post new topics inside the Docker Container section, so you can move this if you wish. Problem: Limetech Plex Media Server, container issue logs show library issue (repeats constantly): 6 10000 /config/Library/Application Support 10000 ./Plex Media Server: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/plexmediaserver/libtag.so.1: undefined symbol: _ZN6TagLib4RIFF4AYFF4File4saveEv How to fix?
  3. I did try the advice to scrub but that was not a fix. I did notice there were 50 uncorrectable errors on one of the SSDs. I have removed the SSDs and installed a few mechanical drives in place. No issues after this in the past few weeks. Since fixing this would require investment, will wait for the new Samsung 860 to purchase and replace them in pair (getting cheaper). Until then, will contend with mechanical drives not giving me issues (albeit slower). Thanks for the help. I will open a new case if I get new failures.
  4. 5. crashed again this time had to hard reboot. Hmmm, maybe hardware is going out. I will do more experiments. Maybe remove cache drive to test if its SSD(s).
  6. I jus realised there is 6.6.5 available, will give that a go as well. Still would appreciate feedback on issue.
  7. The system had gone into undefined state. It was accessible via GUI but docker was down and /var/log/syslog showed number of error when I tried to simply reboot the system (either via GUI or manually via reboot command from console). I have attached a snippet of error output. Not sure if this is a hardware issue that has developed or simply an OS bug. Had a few instances where docker images would not start (rubbing is SSD cache) and had to reboot the box to clear this stalemate. Now I am a bit concerned. As I am not an expert, would somebody be able to identify if this is a genuine bug or I need to replace the system (given its old, mobo is from 2011). Thanks. bug_6.6.2_gk.rtf
  8. Not adblocker installed and tested on Mac not running any antivirus. Thinking of downgrading to 6.5.0 to test, but not sure if I should. UPDATE: rebooted the server and now it works. Hmmm maybe server process had an issue...
  9. Upgraded from 6.5.0 to 6.5.2, unfortunately the console/terminal access via GUI does not work. Tried in Firefox and chrome on windows 10 and OS X. Not sure what it is. Windows opens up but it’s blank, waiting for response. Hmmm.
  10. Simple question, is Limetech Plex Media Server container required to be run in privileged mode and why would that be (for example access to particular device such as GPU on CPU for transcoding). I have intel 2600 non K cpu? Would there be any limitation or its a case of raw CPU power? Thanks.
  11. Sorry for posting here, can't post into Docker Container Forum section, not allowed. Simple question, is Plex Media Server (limetech/plex) container required to be run in privileged mode and why would that be (for example access to particular device such as GPU on CPU for transcoding). I have intel 2600 non K cpu? I am currently running in unprivileged mode (or at least I think gui flag set is is applied and respected) , seems to be working, but not sure about possible limitations. Thanks.
  12. I have had this on my Centos 7 VM (server). Had the NMI CPU syslog messages. This did not show on Ubuntu server VM. What I did is instead of CPU passthrough, i have changed it to QEMU emulated CPU in VM settings (edit). No errors showing. So not sure if it is a problem with CPU passthrough and some instability due to it. Do we blame KVM/QEMU or not or is it bug in CentOS package? i doubt we all have hardware issues. processor : 1 vendor_id : GenuineIntel cpu family : 6 model : 6 model name : QEMU Virtual CPU version 2.5+ stepping : 3 microcode : 0x1 cpu MHz : 3392.260 cache size : 4096 KB
