  1. Hello everyone, I recently have added a smb share to my unraid server via the unassigned devices plugin for backup purposes. I have noticed in the web ui that my smb share sometimes disconnects and shows size oB and used 0B. (Shown bellow) Upon further investigation I noticed that I am receiving alot of errors in the syslog and it seems to have to do with a shell code execution. I have tried to look up what this error is but I am still unsure what is causing this. The error can be seen bellow. Mar 21 10:52:23 Scarif unassigned.devices: Error: shell_exec(/bin/df '/mnt/remotes/KASHYYYK_Delta' --output=size,used,avail | /bin/grep -v '1K-blocks' 2>/dev/null) took longer than 5s! If anyone could give me some clarity into what is causing this error it would be greatly appreciated. I have also attached my diagnostic file to give better insight as well. Thank you and have a great day! scarif-diagnostics-20220321-1057.zip
  2. Okay, thank you for your reply Under the interface rules the only 2 interfaces shown are eth0 and eth2 for some reason If I delete the network.cfg and network-rules.cfg and reboot will unraid rebuild the files to the default config? Do I need to edit anything in the cfg files or just delete them? Thanks again
  3. Hello, I just upgraded my server from a 8350x to a 3900x build, before I had a 10gb mellanox card set up as eth0 and eth1 as a backup Ethernet port. After the upgrade i noticed that the link status of the card was not lighting up. So I took it out of the server and flashed the newest firmware on it, then put it back in the server. After this i noticed that the link and activity lights were working however Unraid says the connection is down. Logging into my gateway it shows me that the mellanox card is connected, however I can not ping the server when only connected via the mellanox card. In order to connect to the server I need to plug a Ethernet cable in the back of the motherboard. How can I get unraid to recognize the mellanox card? Thank you for your help in advance, bellow I have attached a recent diagnostic file. lilith-diagnostics-20200421-1636.zip
  4. Upon further inspection I noticed that the conectors on the x-3 card are damaged. Unfortunately I can confirm that this problem is not to do with the nic, a few hours ago my server froze up again and I was forced to reboot. I am now running the syslog server and will post the log when it crashes again.
  5. Okay so a little update I got home yesterday and removed my mellanox x-3 Card from my server and then plugged into the on-board Ethernet port. I then ran parity and let it do it's thing. This morning I checked and parity completed without any errors and my server never went offline. This tells me that it has something to do with my network config of the x-3 card as the only time I have a problem with this card is 12 hours into parity check. If anyone has any ideas how to help it would be greatly appreciated.
  6. Personally it seems more of a software problem however when I get home i will remove the card and use the on board Ethernet to see if any problems occur during the parity check. I also may try to remove pulseway all together and see if that changes anything aswell.
  7. Hello I have been using lime tech's Unraid for almost 6 months, and have recently ran into a problem that I am unsure how to approach. I am currently running my server off of about 4 WD drives for the array, one 860 EVO for Cashe, and an old AMD FX-8350 processor. Recently I have acquired a Mellanox x-3 card and put it into my server, I proceeded by switching the mac address of the Mellanox x-3 card as the eth0 interface after learning that Unraid uses eth0 for everything. I am now experiencing a problem where during a parity check the server goes offline and is unreachable. This problem from what I have gathered surfaced after I installed this x-3 card, I have briefly looked over the logs and noticed a outstanding error that I am unsure exactly what is causing it. I believe that the application I installed called pulseway is the main problem, however I am unsure of the next course of action as I use pulseway to notify myself when the server goes offline. If there is anymore information needed please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks Bellow I have attached the Diagnostics for my server I hope this can help: lilith-diagnostics-20200121-0913.zip
  8. True didn't think of that, I just checked the cable by plugging a different machine into it and I got a connection. It may be a cause of my switch going to my server, however I am not entirely sure atm.
  9. Perhaps, however I've been running this server for about 60 days straight now and just yesterday afternoon I've been expiriencing this connection issues
  10. After booting into safe mode it was still difficult to access the web gui over my lan, I tried to ping the ip of the server from the laptop however most reqests timed out or the host was unreachable I am thinking that upgrading may help my situation but I am not sure, thoughts?
  11. Okay is there a command to boot into safe mode, like i said the GUI is basically impossible to get up
  12. That is just pulseway a monitoring software I installed onto the server, I have not.
  13. I have not, currently my the Unraid Web GUI is being incredibly slow to load the page or sometimes it will just stop responding.
  14. Hello I have been using Unraid for a few months now, however just today I have encountered an issue with access to the web ui. I have no idea what is causing this, when i ping the server from the laptop sometimes I loose all request while others I only loose 25%. Here is the diagnostics info downloaded from Tools/Diagnostics I am happy to answer any questions to help any diagnosis, Thanks in advance. diagnostics-20191212-0438 - Copy.zip
