Hi again,
I'm finally being able to fiddle with Unmanic
I checked the various files handling plugin but can't find a way to do what i need.I have downloading automated, downloading files in this way:
/library/folder1/downloadedfilefolder/file1.mp4 /library/folder2/downloadedfilefolder/file2.mp4 /library/folder3/downloadedfilefolder/file3.mp4Basically, everytime a file is downloaded a "downloadfilefolder" is created in its path to contain the file itself.
I tried to avoid this but i can't sort it out.
What i'd need is a way to have the file moved into its parent folder after conversion, like this:
/library/folder1/file1.mkv /library/folder2/file2.mkv /library/folder3/file3.mkv(and the, by now, cointaining "downloadedfilefolder" deleted (with everything else inside, wich usually are text files and other tiny ones).
I guess the "External Post-processor Script" plugin may do the work but my knowledge of linux is ways too limited to do something with it.
Anybody has any idea in how to do that?

Yup. That prevents the host os from using the pci device.
Removed the stub from the GPU, rebooted, still no /dev/dri
Puzzled.
Edit: added amdgpu.conf and radeon.conf to /boot/config/modprobe.d/ , rebooted, same situation
Edit2: found the problem, i had also stub for the GPU in syslinux.cfg. -

Sorry if it has been asked before (i checked and didn't find anything in the specific).
I installed radeon-top.
When i try to install unmanic specifying in the extra parameters (docker advance) "--device=/dev/dri" it fails telling me:
docker: Error response from daemon: error gathering device information while adding custom device "/dev/dri": no such file or directory.
(and yes, in /dev there's no dri folder).
I have a little radeon rx560 wich, in system devices, is reserved to be passed to VM or others.

If RC4 doesn't do it for you, go with RC2 (plugin should work no probs with it).

His idea is to install it without the card and THEN install the card (and, as said, it won't work).-

On my system it works flawlessy with RC2 but not with RC3.
Also, you can't install adrenaline without the Radeon GPU passed to the VM (adrenaline installer will complain that there's no radeon card in the system).

Yes, exactly, it is always recommended to use a second GPU for the console output from Unraid and not to use the same card/GPU for console output and a VM because this can/will always cause some trouble.
So, i followed your instructions: enabled iGPU in bios and set it as primary video out.
Before (when i did the report) i had Unraid freezing up as i tried to run a VM using the Radeon (AFTER another one was closed - basically, at every second VM using the radeon was started).
With your solution (so far) this isn't anymore, but at the second (or third) instead i get this:
So, again, it's basically unusable.
Attacched, diagnostics for this setup.
I'm going back to RC2 and with previous bios settings (iGPU disabled), since it was working absolutely fine, until anything comes up regarding this issue.

You can also buy a HDMI Dummy plug for the iGPU.
The VM will start fine if you‘ve assigned the dGPU wirhout switching the HDMI cable.
Yes, i know, but when/if i need to go to bios again i'll have to switch.
Beside that, the idea is that with iGPU active it will work? Or is it for debugging?

I‘ve now read through your first post, please enable the iGPU and set it to the primary graphics device so that Unraid can use it for the console output.
Not possible on my system (i only have one tv connected to the server, i can't keep switching hdmi cable everytime i have to run a VM. Unless it's for debugging purposes).
Beside, it has always worked in RC2 (and still is, i went back to it) with the iGPU disabled (?).
If needed for debugging i'll do it; i'll need to install RC3 again tho.

I will take a look at the build logs from the plugin but from what I know it should work just fine, keep in mind this patch is only a workaround and not a real solution to the issue...

Hi there,
AMD Ryzen 5 2400G with Radeon Vega Graphics @ 3600 MHz (iGPU disabled in bios)
GPU: Radeon RX560
Since RC3 the GPU isn't resetting correctly in VMs (it did with with the AMD Vendor Reset plugin in RC2 without any problem).
Below, my diagnostics.
I'll be grateful for any help.

Never mind.
I had enough and changed the key to ECDSA and now everything is working.
(well, not really: the user/root filed to paste the key refuses any format for the key. I had to directly edit the authorized_keys file.

It is now mandatory to define a root password. We also created a division in the Users page to distinguish root from other user names. The root UserEdit page includes a text box for pasting SSH authorized keys. For new configurations, telnet, ssh, and ftp are disabled by default.My configuration isn't "new".
SSH is enable.
root password is defined since day 1.
My SSH key is where it's supposed to be and shows in my users/root configuration in the webui.
My clients (Putty, WinSCP) are up to date.

Updated to 6.10.0-rc2 and i can't anymore ssh into my unraid as root.
a tail /var/log/syslog gives:
userauth_pubkey: key type ssh-rsa not in PubkeyAcceptedAlgorithms [preauth]
but ssh-rsa is enabled in sshd_config:

Well, don't really know what's wrong.
Every time i reboot i get:
Then it *may* become avaiable, *if* it will after a lot of time. But that's not always the case.
Also, aftere every reboot, all the setting for My Server are reset to default, so:
I turn "Allow Remote Access" to Yes, apply, and after a reboot everything goes back to "No".
I already tried to uninstall/reinstall. I was hoping that maybe after updating to Unraid RC2 thing would have fixed by themselves but that's not the case.
I'm basically always like that:

Same here today.
FIrst Unraid told me the flash drive was damaged.
Reboot, it went into Parity check.
Cancelled it, now:
And:
Config is ok.
Puzzled.
EDIT: now it went online by itself after some minutes.
EDIT2: reboot, same problem. It seems it takes age to be recognized by My Servers (or to say "hey, i'm alive"). -
Starting today Unraid servers is logging me off again.
When i try to login again it "does" but after that keeps showing me log off and asking me to login.In loop
Edit: it seems to have solved itself after a reboot.

How do i exactly can limit to specific users access to the share under UD (a share created on a phisical device mounted with UD)?
(i'm asking because of course being outside of the array i can't manage the share with the "Shares" tab).

Hi again,
i have been investigating this for a while but can't find a solution.
When i encode a file, most times the encode mkv has "added" a vertical black band to the right:
My settings ATM are:
original width of the source file is 624 pixels.
Any idea?
