    disk rebuild unraid 6.3.5 [SOLVED]

    I replaced a 2tb drive with a 4tb drive. rebuild successful. it has been some time for me in having to perform this procedure. I recall in the past after a successful rebuild, parity would show as "valid but not checked yet" or similar and then it was recommended to run parity check to verify success. I currently see in gui parity is valid and Last check completed on Tue 05 Sep 2017 05:48:04 AM CDT (today), finding 0 errors.

    Is it no longer necessary to run a parity check after a disc rebuild with version 6.3.5 and dual parity when replacing and rebuilding a disc?

    There are some used higher end UPS's on Ebay that fall close to my budget. Thoughts on buying used?
     
    Am I missing any? 
     
    I am leaning towards the most watts that I can get even if it's not a pure sine. Which would put me with the CP1200AVR. Still researching to see what the real difference is between APC and Cyberpower in terms of support and warranty. 


    Without knowing any other details for your setup, and using my rule of thumb that true sine with AVR is always better, I vote for the CyberPower, CP850PFCLCD

    For the money, this series is a very good buy.

    Also check amazon as some times you can save a couple bucks over newegg.

    I'm experimenting with this docker after experiencing some speed issues with delugevpn as others have mentioned. Until I figure it out and am comfortable using this docker I would like to run both at the same time with pia vpn enabled but trying to start one or the other at the same time results in an "internal server error" pop up and does not start.
    Can this be done or do I possibly have some other issue preventing this?

    Which version is your chrome extension?
    mine is v.1.2.3 and still does not seem to work fully. Although it shows "connection problem - unable to connect to deluge web ui", it adds torrents just fine!

    After updating the docker app to 1.3.14 I can't seem to be able to connect via the chrome plugin and the android apps Transdrone and NZBmanager. Everything was working fine before. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Should I just wait for update in the apps?

    Deluge made some security changes in this version. Other apps should be updating soon to account for that. I don't use the two you mentioned, but I do use the extension in chrome and it does now work for me.

    In the DelugeVPN log, I found that the following message shows up every 30-60 seconds:

    It seems like this is the same issue but I'm not completely sure.  My best guess is there is a setting I'm missing or a step I missed to fix this issue.  
     
    I use PIA and have attached the log file from tonight.

    You need to set VPN_REMOTE with a server that supports port forwarding. The one you have set from Texas does not. None of the US server do. Check the list on the PIA website.

    I am using it as my daily driver and have replaced couchpotato. It has a few niggly bugs, but nothing earth shattering for me. I haven't added my movie collection yet, I am waiting for the bulk-add update to drop for me.

     

    I have been using the List featured to grab Trakt lists I like, and my own personal imdb/trakt lists came in just fine. Pretty impressive for how new the project is.

     

    Not sure what you mean by the subfolders, my setup is

     

    \media\movies

    and then each movie gets its own folder, so movie (2010) etc

     

    I think he means the movies not being in their own subfolder.

     

    Yes, that's what I'm asking.  I heard this was going to change in an update.  Guess it hasn't yet.

    I also hope this change comes. Sooner than later...

    thanks to death.hilarious for the heads up on the pia api change, i have now included the switch over to the shiny new pia api used to assign a port forward, if any issues then please let me know.

    Sonarr likes to spin my disks up every 12 hours due their "Refresh Series" schedule task. Unfortunately it's not possible to turn this off or customize when it runs. Has anyone found a creative solution to prevent this task from spinning up disks?

    Are you using the cache directories plugin? It may help you in this situation.

    does this need to be reinstalled following the 6.2 update? I cant seem to get it back working.

    Docker is updated in 6.2.

    After I upgraded to 6.2 I went to the docker tab and pressed the update all button. All is well now. I hope that works for you too.

    Easy way out for me was to nuke the old container and start new using CA. Took about 5min to setup from scratch. Not sure if there is an option to avoid scanning for library items by using old config.

    Yup. Exactly what I had to do. Once I turned on advanced and changed the path for config from mnt/usr/appdata to mnt/cache/appdata it started working.

    I too had to rescan library.

    Is this docker depreciated??

    Upgrade to unRAID 6.2 final, run docker update and this is only container not available.

     

    Pulling image: lsiodev/serviio:latest

     

    TOTAL DATA PULLED: 0 B

     

    Error: Error: image lsiodev/serviio not found

     

    moved to our lsiocommunity repository.

    installed this plugin and

     

    On the dashboard it just shows temp as N/A

    On the settings page it shows - 71 CPU Temp N/A N/A N/A N/A OEM Reserved N/A N/A N/A

    not sure what it means, Any idea what I can do to see CPU temp?

    just in case it matters or not - dynamix system temp CPU temp displays ok

    Some Supermicro boards don't show the CPU temp through ipmi. They just use a oem reserved code of high, medium and low. However freeipmi doesn't always know the oem codes so it displays n/a.

    trying this out for last few days, and wonder may i have set up something incorrectly.

    config is set to /mnt/cache/appdata/Tonido/ and container volume is default /unRAID host path set to /mnt/user

    settings within tonido:

    indexing is off  and Allow remote access to only specific folders

    unRAID/media/movies, unRAID/media/music, unRAID/media/tv shows, unRAID/media/pictures

    really the only changes made from default setup.

    been away for a week and was using android app on phone and personal laptop to access my "entertainment" on the road. Worked really well. quite simple really, right up my alley...upon returning home i noticed on my cache drive there was a folder with a .tonidodb file for every folder I accessed while away and the mover did not move them because permission is set as root. shouldn't it be nobody? Is this something i set up wrong in this docker or an underlying issue with my security settings in unraid itself?
