  1. Solved the core count issue. It was due to a program I had installed on Windows and not related to UnRaid.
  2. Hi everyone, I have a Windows 10 VM with 8 cores configured. I noticed after a rare Windows 10 crash that my programs were running slow and looking at the task manager I only have 2 cores showing. I have configured 8 cores and 100G of disk space for the VM in UnRaid. In looking into a possible cause, I tried to disable fast startup but that option is not available in Windows. Looking further the cause of that could be not enough disk space. I'm running UnRaid 6.8.3 and I changed the disk size from 100G to 160G but that doesn't show up in the VM either. Now I have 8 cor
  3. Testdasi! Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction. My issue was a look-alike card from the same manufacturer with a different part number. I had to use GPUZ to dump my bios and it worked after that. I did this on another computer in Windows. This was necessary for me because with my cheap HD-5450 GPU in the primary (must be primary per Spaceinvader) I could not get the new GPU in its own IOMMU group even with PCIe ACS override. Therefore I couldn't start it before dumping the bios. But Windows did do the trick so THANK YOU THANK YOU! Unraid ROCKS!!! On to the Mac VM.
  4. Hmmm. I've tried everything I can think of of here. Is this a tough one? Does it sound like I missed anything obvious? Could it be my hardware flavor?
  5. I'm into my second month with UnRaid and I love it but my setup always seems to have issues with VM pass through. have a Ryzen processor and a new Asus GT 1030 Fanless GPU I'm trying to pass through to a Windows 10 VM. It works fine with VNC. UnRaid 6.8.0 CPU: AMD RYZEN 7 2700 8-Core 3.2 GHz Mobo: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15 GPU: ASUS GT 1030 2GB GDDR5 Storage: SAMSUNG 970 EVO M.2 2280 500GB PCIe Gen3 Cache 3x6GB WD Red Drives - I have d
  6. I think the problem was the ancient SSD I was using as a cache for testing. I know I formatted it when I set it up so I just switched to a 500gb nvme I had and its working with mover now. I suspect it will work from here. Thanks.
  7. Here are the diagnostics taken when the shares are not available. myunraid-diagnostics-20191229-1144.zip
  8. I'm new to Unraid and I've been experimenting with dockers and VMs. Unraid is amazing! I've gone through many of the excellent Spaceinvader One tutorials and in the process I have installed and uninstalled dockers and VMs many times to get things working. At at some point the user shares would be gone in the morning and I'd have to reboot to get them back. I have narrowed the problem down to the mover process in the scheduler. Running it manually the log shows the attached errors and the shares disappear. Any suggestions on how to proceed?
