Any word on when the docker will be updated to 4.8.80?

A relatively new drive (maybe 3 years old) is going into error state. This is the second time its done it, though a SMART report says the drive is fine. The email alert I get says "Parity disk - WDC_WD80EMAZ-00WJTA0_7HJY3P8F (sdf) (errors 166)" and then it's shut down. I can't tell if the drive is actually dying, if it's a bad cable, or something else. Can anyone help me diagnose the problem? I've attached my diagnostic ZIP. I appreciate the help. Thanks.

This rack mount case is really decent for the current sale price of $249 on NewEgg. My only suggestion is buy some higher quality SATA cables as the ones that come with it aren't great.

I currently have Unraid running on an Intel i7-9700k and am using the integrated GPU for transcoding Emby. I'm upgrading one of my PC's and am wondering if I move its GTX 1650 into Unraid if I would see better performance in transcoding?

Is there a way to still connect to my Unraid server locally via IP even with Unraid Connect active? Once UC is active I can only connect via its URL; the IP address gives me an error.
Thanks.

Ever since that first reboot it hasn't happened again and normal reboots work fine, so maybe it was a fluke. I did have to format the cache drive to fix the appdata error. As of right now everything is working fine.

Yesterday I installed a Crucial 1TB M.2 SSD to run my appdata dir from. I moved the appdata dir, changed the configuration in share and everything seemed to be running fine. However, ever since then I've been having problems with Unraid. First the system will no longer do a clean shutdown, and in fact it reboot on its own this morning around 8AM. (System log attached.)
I have the Fix Common Problems plugin installed and it's showing that appdata is set to cache when it's not. I even ran the mover to make sure nothing was left on the cache drive.
Yet farther down in the Fix Common Problems plugin it's showing that appdata is set to Crucial (the M.2) yet the dir remains on the cache.
I used the console and the appdata dir does exist on cache but it's empty. I even looked for hidden files. I then tried to force remove the dir using rm -r but am getting the error 'rm: cannot remove 'appdata': Device or resource busy'.
Fix Common Problems is also showing Machine Check Events detected on your server, but the plugin it wants me to install isn't available because I'm on 6.12.4 so I can't check that log.
Any idea what's up and how I can resolve these issues? I really appreciate any insight/help.

I have my appdata on an M.2 SSD. Should I have the transcode dir for my media server on that, too, or should I configure it to use the traditional SSD? Which will produce better results? Thanks.

You mean to start?
What is your RAM and CPU?
I have an Intel Core i7-9700K with 32GB RAM.

Will converting dockers to folders from images speed up their load time? Right now I have 15-20 docker containers on an SSD and it takes a good 10 min for them all to load.

Trying to install and I came across an issue with the version number. It says if you just enter the main version number (e.g. 9, 10, 11) that the latest version of that release will download. That doesn't happen, at least for me. I have to manually enter the version number (e.g. 11.309) to get it to install.

Does anyone know what this directory is? I don't have any docker associated with this directory. Is it safe to remove, or is it needed by Unraid?

GUI should show the correct stats, du is not always reliable with btrfs or zfs, post output of:
zfs list -t all
Here's what it shows.
Is there any way to narrow down? A week ago it was sitting at 400GB or so.

I'm having a bit of an issue with Unraid and my cache drive. In the Unraid GUI it shows I only have 157GB free.
However, when I run du -hs * /mnt/cache when adding up the totals it doesn't match.
Any ideas on how I can find what is taking up all the space, or is this a possible bug in Unraid 6.12.4?

Maybe using the command mariadb and not mysql?
Well I feel stupid, though in my defense the official container info was wrong so I don't feel quite as stupid. Thanks.

I'm trying to restore a database backup in the Unraid terminal using the command shown in the support section:
docker exec -i MariaDB-Official sh -c 'exec mysql -uroot -p"YOUR_ROOT_PASSWORD"' < /mnt/user/Backups/all-databases.sql
However I'm getting the following error:
sh: 1: exec: mysql: not found
Any idea how to fix this and get the database imported? Thank you.

How poorly rated ?
In general, 2U UPS will cover 1000-2000VA, I would suggest you buy some 2nd hand UPS. My three APC UPS over 10yrs age.
Newly APC UPS may not support ACUPSD / NUT management, you will got monitoring issue.
I'm mostly looking at NewEgg and the more expensive, higher watt ones, seem to have 2-star ratings.

I'm looking for a rack mountable UPS for server running on a 600W PSU. Most of the UPS's I'm finding are upright (highly rated) or rack mountable (poorly rated). Any suggestions for a good quality UPS that is rack mountable and won't break the bank?

So I just discovered this which is interesting. If I am on the plugins page the system can't find any updates and I see the error, however if I go into the plugin itself it finds the update and can do it.

What is the part you blanked out? The correct CN should be:
CN=*.sfo2.digitaloceanspaces.com,O=DigitalOcean\\, LLC,L=New York,ST=New York,C=US
If a different CN is listed then someone is trying to do a man-in-the-middle attack on you. I would talk to your IT department as something doesn't seem to be setup correctly on the network.
It was showing our companies domain name, so I assumed it was their cert. I'm not well versed in how certificates work. Strange, though, I can install dockers and plugins initially but not their updates.
I should add they use zscaler which, even on the desktops our IT department setup and control, can be a huge pain the butt.

Yes it is. Mobo is default (UTC, I think?) but in Unraid I've it manually set.

I'm still struggling with this issue. It's weird because I can install NEW dockers or plugins, I just can't check/install updates. I ran wget in the terminal and it won't download the file but does give me the option to connect insecurely. I don't know how - or if it's even possible - to do this via the GUI. Any ideas?
-
I finally figured this out. I needed to configure uid and gid to www-data (generally 33) during the mounting process. I could then write to the directory.

A location I have Unraid has Zscaler which requires a valid email and password. This is causing some issues with downloading apps or doing Unraid updates. I want to try authorizing the machine using an email and password to see if that fixes the problem. I saw some old posts that no longer work installing text-based browsers (Lynx, Links, etc.) in the console. Does anyone have an updated guide/post on how to do this?
