  1. Here's my process Deleted the OVMF Removed docker, cleared template Deleted appdata Undefined the VM, deleted it Have you gotten BigSur to actually work or are you running Catalina?
  2. Yeah that's my issue as well, trying to install Big Sur and it just comes up with Catalina. I'll go ahead and delete that ovmf file, and try deleting everything again
  3. No matter how many times I restart the server, remove template/appdata, delete domains/isos, and remove the VM, I am plagued with this error
  4. Alright, new issue. Trying to add more cores via the XML, and i'm getting this error XML: <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?> <domain type='kvm' xmlns:qemu='http://libvirt.org/schemas/domain/qemu/1.0'> Edit: Nevermind, just saw <cpu mode='host-passthrough' check='none'> <topology sockets='1' cores='2' threads='1'/> </cpu> and changed it to 4 cores 1 thread. fixed the issue
  5. Yeah that just broke the VM Edit: Here's my domains folder. Clearly the file is there Edit 2: Deleted the VM, disks, and folder in \domains\. Let's try this a 15th time.
  6. So this is what I'm dealing with. Any suggestions?
  7. I currently have a CSE-846E16-R1200B (with a LSI 9211-4i & BPN-SAS2-846EL1) I was considering dropping a 3900x build into it, but noticed that that I might not be able to fit a full modular power supply into it. Does anyone have this case, and were you able to fit a full size PSU into it? (Example: Corsair HX850) Thanks in advanced Edit: Or should I just use the built in power supply (2x1200w) that came with the case?
  8. Just so I understand a little bit better, basically, I'll have the IP KVM upstairs, dedicated CAT6 cable to it, and I can plug in all of my peripherals to it, and control my server from a different location in my home? Now to find a KVM with display ports that's not $1500.. 😅
  9. I've got my server set to it's own static IP, as well as it's own subnet. Am I going to see any issues with this setup?
  10. I'm trying to eliminate computers from my network though while having Unraid be my daily with VMs available. I'm just trying to figure how to best go about setting up monitors/keyboard located on a different floor than the server.
  11. This is probably going to be a super simple/stupid question, but if I'm wanting to use my Unraid server as a daily, and keep my monitors/peripherals/etc on a different floor of my house, how would I accomplish that? Would I need ~100ft cables to route through the walls? Any suggestions/recommendations are highly appreciated. edit; Has the issue with Ryzen-based servers been fixed?
  12. No, didn't remove any disks. That is correct /u/nitebleu over on /r/unraid was able to help me. I had to start the array, stop it, add the parity disk, and then start it again. Unraid is now seeing my parity drive
  13. I'm trying to add a parity drive to my system, but it's telling me invalid expansion. As shown in the screenshots Any ideas?
