Hi, I plaining purchase this hard for HomeServer: My requisites: VMware ESXI 7 and unRaid (virtualized) The requisite VMware is for i need i PBX by Software, whith this is alone compatible with ESXI. And my selected HARD Components are: ASUS ROG Strix X570-F AMD 3900X Ryzen 9 Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 64 GB (4 x 16 GB), DDR4, 3200 MHz, C16, XMP 2.0 LSI SAS3 models like the 9300-8i ( planing purchase this CARD for put 6 HDD for unraid and passtrought of VMware) Is correct this config and 100% compatible for this purpose????

Hello I need advice from the wisest of this community. Currently I have a Server with a Supermico motherboard X11SSM-F with a processor XEON E3 1230 v6 4c and 32 GB of RAM, currently I have it with VMware v7 and everything is fine, but I see that it falls short. Now I have installed unRAID in the VMWARE and it is a bit slow sometimes! I am looking at an HP Server, that for just over $ 1000 you have one with a processing of 12c and 64Gb of RAM. What worries me is the noise, since I live in an apartment and I have no place where I can locate it so that it is isolated. Any recommendation?? Do you think that HP or DELL is a good choice? Why the noise issue?

I put other GPU in the Slot 2 in the MB , and is passtrouht correctly!!... My question is no possible pass the first GPU to VM??

Not solved, when put on the VM, in the monitor is Black Screen... I read more and more post, but unsuccessfully the problem is the MB x40 and the R1700??
