I’ve seen this happen a couple of times now.  I have a kvm connected to my unRAID box and I’ve been evaluating the application.  A couple of times I’ve noticed garbage characters being printed to the console while the server is running.  I have a suspicion that this is happening when one of the disks gets a write error. 

 

unRAID seems to be functioning fine so I’m wondering if there are some debug statements that are showing up in the codebase?

 

Just wanted to make Tom aware of this.

Just about anything that's output to the console is also written to the system log.  Next time this happens, please try to capture the system log and post it here.
