Restore array after HBA cards change

Recommended Posts

Hi
Had a problem with my hba cards which coused drives to be disabled due to errors.

First was drive 8 disabled and while rebooting to re-add the drive, the array disabled parity drive 1.

This made me replace my HBA cards, as I had similiar problems a few months ago.

Problem is that after replacing the HBA cards all drives, except the two previously disabled ones, are now disabled.

I am almost certain that all drives are fine, and nothing (important) should have been written to disk 8 during the time it was disabled.

What would be the best way to restart the array -> Go to tools ->New config, and re-add all drives in their old position, or is there a better way?
