October 2, 200718 yr I'm using the above board with an Athlon s754 3400+ CPU. It work's beautifully, except for the onboard SATA temp info. This board is the ULi M1697 chipset.
January 22, 200818 yr Author Sorry! Never actually noticed you had replied. All the hard drives on the onboard SATA ports show Temperature as "*" on the web page. They don't show the actual temperature. Just wasn't sure if this was a driver thing or whether the onboard SATA ports don't support this.
January 22, 200818 yr That board uses a ULi chipset. Though linux does support this, we didn't include it in the current unRAID OS kernel It will be included in the next release.
February 28, 200818 yr Author FYI - the drives are actually showing the temp now. I played with smartctl (after reading the thread on it) and SMART wasn't enabled on those Samsung disks. After enabling it the temps are now showing.
