My cache keeps going into read only - scrub aborts and balance does nothing

Ok that was expected. But what about the bit where I have removed it entirely and replaced it and still not working?

Those appear to be the same you posted before, old cache is still connected causing a lot of ATA errors, remove old cache and post new diags.

Thanks for your help! It is with the new drive. Shall I remove ANY cache drives?

I have triple checked that diagnostic is with the new drive

Ok so:

 

I got SpaceInvader to help me. And he was brilliant!! We(he): formatted again the new cache and changed it to xfs. Then we copied the old cache to the newly formatted drive and bingo - worked! It would probably have been fine Jorge if I'd have done exactly what you sad and removed the old one first before putting the new one in. But there we are. All done.

 

Probably caused by a power cut corruption so I'm getting a UPS!
