Superdean56
Hello everyone, I recently noticed that I am not getting the frame-rate I should be getting while running my gaming VM. Then I started looking into what frequency/clock speeds my CPU is running at and it is not boosting Setup: - core i9-9900k - asus prime z390-a motherboard - 32gb DDR4 Ram. (20gb passthrough to VM) - RTX 3080 (passthrough to VM) - Quadro p600 (for plex) - 1TB NVME (passthrough to VM) - 512gb SSD Cache - 32TB HDD storage I am running Unraid 6.9 I have 14 out of 16 cores pinned to the VM while running. I have tips and tweaks installed and CPU set to performance. I have ran the script "# grep MHz /proc/cpuinfo" and the maximum frequency it went up to was 3.8ghz, even when i prime95 the vm and i checked the governor and its set to 5ghz So what can I do to boost my CPU higher? Why isn't my cores boosting up to 5ghz? My cpu is definitely bottlenecking my RTX 3080 Quote Link to comment
