queeg
Here's a link to the news release. Kingston, which plays both sides of the field (desktops and servers), just announced that its ValueRAM Server Premier series of DDR3 has been independently validated for use with Super Micro Computer server boards. You can find that webpage here, which lists currently tested platforms and qualification data Quote Link to comment
Rajahal
Good to know I have their blessing, I guess, but I've been using Kingston RAM with Supermicro boards for some time now. For example, I use this 4 GB kit with the X8SIL-F-O. Quote Link to comment
aiden
The only problem I see is all those modules are Registered memory, which is not required until you get to 8GB sticks, and even those aren't required to have registers on the new Sandy Bridge processors. Quote Link to comment
