Adi E
Hello, I've been using unraid for awhile now, and very often it just hangs (it doesn't show on the network, GUI doesn't work) The only thing to do in this situation is a hard reset (from the button) .. After this the parity check starts doing its thing and that takes forever. Sometimes docker hangs also. I've double checked that apps, system, isos, etc to be on cache drive only, but still it happens. I really could use some help. The drives and cables are new: just a couple of months. I've generated a diagnostics file, since I really don't know where to look and at what exactly to look at Can anybody help out, please? tower-diagnostics-20210408-1534.zip Edited April 8, 2021 by Adi E Quote Link to comment

Adi E
Okay, I didn't touched the server for awhile, so I don't know for how long it was in this state I've tried accessing the GUI now, it loaded but no disk show, docker apps were not accessible and sharing was still active I've attached the syslog too, as far as I can see there are kernel related errors, and the latest archived log syslog.zip tower-diagnostics-20210415-0223.zip Edited April 19, 2021 by Adi E Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
There's multiple segfaulting apps, start by running memtest. Quote Link to comment
Adi E
Okay, I'll post after 1 full pass of memtest. Quote Link to comment
Adi E
Back, I've let it run overnight, and after 2 and a half passes, no error occurred. I was under the impression that the output of the scan will be saved on the USB drive, so I didn't make a photo of the output. What now? Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
One thing you can try it to boot the server in safe mode with all docker/VMs disable, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it still crashes it's likely a hardware problem, if it doesn't start turning on the other services one by one. Adi E
Okay, I'll try this tonight. I'll let it run NAS only for 2-3 days and see if it hangs. Quote Link to comment
Adi E
Some days later, I've updated to Version: 6.9.2, and is still running, almost ~8 days uptime. No hangs, docker apps are okay. Guess it's working ok now. Edited April 28, 2021 by Adi E Quote Link to comment
