Ordered the StarTech sata cable, when it arrives I will also replace the battery & fully check bios when I set time/date

 

the Asus Z97-K motherboard is over 5 years old, so I should have replaced the battery before installing Unraid 💡

    Bit of a late update ..

     

    The StarTech Mini-SAS to SATA Cable is the right one

    It's a lot neater, stronger, etc .. so easier to install & worth the extra cost 🙂

    Installed 3 new drives using the StarTech

     

    Krysma No.1 - 3 & 4 leads are still in use .. No.2 lead was not okay

     

    Plus I did replace the battery & no more bios date issue
