April 13, 201115 yr Did you actually download the preclear script? If you did then where did you put it?
April 13, 201115 yr omg @lionelhutz dont hate me too much only saw run that script so thought was just running a command i dl put it in flash boot root dir and will continue from there. thanks for pointing me in the right direction once again.
April 13, 201115 yr well i reckon i give up on this one especially if wont make a difference as far as performance i followed joe L instructions copied dl file to root dir for flash i tried running the script with array online with it offline used preclear_disk.sh /dev/sdX and didnt make a bit of a difference says its already assigned as part of the UnRaid array also tried with the disk unassigned
April 13, 201115 yr Go read the preclear script thread. Use preclear_disk.sh -l to list the devices available to clear and then pick one of those. sdX does not exist. The X means pick a device such as sda or sdf. Peter
