NickG
Just curious if anyone has any experience with Supermicro MBD-X11SSH-F-O or MBD-X11SSH-LN4F-O (4 LAN port version) with Unraid? Are there any quirks while using all PCIe slots and the NVMe slot? I've read that sometimes it's tough to tell what won't work with the SM boards until you boot it all up. These are reasonably priced boards and it seems like the E3-1200 v6 / v5 CPUs are available. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Should work fine, I have the similar X11SSM-F which IMHO is a better option, the M.2 slot on the other one is only x2, you have an extra x4 slot in this one, that can be used with an M.2 adapter at full speed if wanted. Quote Link to comment
NickG
Thank you! That's what I was looking for...I missed the x2 / x4 spec...that is good to know. Looks like your board is about $30 more but in my case that is probably worth it. Quote Link to comment

This board doesn't support iGPU, so it that is important to you then you should stay with your original pick. https://www.reddit.com/r/HomeServer/comments/9gvfpb/looking_for_a_replacement_for_a_supermicro_x11ssm/ 1 Quote Link to comment
