WilliamAdultman
Hey guys, so I have a raid 0 array that I set up using mdadm in Ubuntu and it has all the data that I wanted to transfer to my unraid share but I’m having trouble figuring out how to mount it. I’ve connected both drives to unraid and created a mount point but in the unassigned devices plugin I don’t see any option to mount them but only to format them. I was planning on using rsync like I have in the past to copy the directory over to unraid, is this possible? Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
It's not possible, since Unraid doesn't have the standard MDADM driver, it's uses a modified version for its driver, also next time please use the existing plugin support thread for any plugin related questions. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
You could spin up an Ubuntu VM and pass-trough those disks. Quote Link to comment
WilliamAdultman
Oh that might be a great solution. Do you have any articles or sources you would recommend I check out to do that? Quote Link to comment
