Hello I was looking for my movie folder and didn't see it  for some reason and checked plex to see that I was in the right spot but the whole folder had disappeared.

 

I went to login to the webui but it was having a 500 error so I went to manually reboot it and when it came back online it needed to do a parity check from unclean power off since putty wasn't working

 

Now that it's on luckily the Size of the array hadn't changed so I hope the files are still recoverable but have no idea what to do. Parity check is running currently so maybe it'll sort itself out but will take a while and want to see if there's anything I can do right now?

You can check to see if your movie folder is now visible again as although the parity check will degrade performance it should not affect functionality.
 

if it does not look as if it is or you think anything else might be amiss then you should post your system’s diagnostics zip file (obtained via Tools->Diagnostics) so we can see what is going on.   A screenshot of the Main tab is often a good idea as well.

Parity check won't have any affect on whether your files are there. If it looks like you have the same amount of storage as before but you can't find them where you expect them to be, maybe you accidentally moved them somewhere else.

 

 

Was only able to post once yesterday. Here is the Main tab and diagnostics file. The folder in question that is missing was inside my movies share called [Weeb] with all my anime movies. 

 

In response the the post above i haven't touched this folder in a while and ive been watching the files using plex but today when i went to watch something everything wasn't working.

What exactly is "everything"?

You have 303 .cfg files in config/shares on flash. That makes me suspect you have at some time accidentally created files or folders at the top level of array or pool disks. Any folder at the top level is automatically a user share.

 

Post a screenshot of the User Shares page.

Bad explanation on my part there. "Everything" is all my Anime movies

Searched thru all my drives for the Folder and unfortunately the folder was not found. I honestly have zero idea where this folder could've gone. At worst I'll know what the files were due to plex so there's that at least. If anyone has any ideas on what I can try it'd be much appreciated.
