Low usable memory

Featured Replies

Hello guys,

so I do have 2 questions:

Why is my "usable memory" just on 27.4GiB, I'm running a couple docker containers (which should consume around 350mb) and have 1 stopped Win10 VM. Does Unraid really need that much?

I have no cache drive and my only drive in the array is a 1TB Nvme ssd, its more than enough for me, since I store almost no data. Would an additional cache drive help me? I dont think so right?

So could anyone explain me, why I can just use 27.4gb and why docker is using 45% (around 15gb) of my memory?

The 45% refers to the amount of the Docker image file space that is used - not the RAM use (which is at 7%),
