Some or all files unprotected, but none of the data from that share is on a cache drive (SOLVED)

I'm on Unraid 6.9.2.

 

I understand the warnings for appdata as some/most of the data is on the cache drive, but I don't see why it would show that for the data share?

 

If I browse the cache, there is no data in the data folder. So what does this warning mean exactly?

 

It's a 2 drive array btw, so parity should be fine:

Having a folder with the name of the share (even if it is empty) will make UnRaid display like that.    If you are sure the folder on the cache drive is empty then deleting it will correct that.

 

I guess the real question is what you did that resulted in you having that folder on the cache in the first place?

Removing that folder at /mnt/cache/ did the trick.

 

Couldn't tell you why it was created. I don't recall creating it, but I guess I must have.
