Appfolder /config is not writable

Featured Replies

Good Morning,

Has anyone had an issue wherin the docker containers start to fail with an error message stating that (application failed to start) "Appfolder /config is not writable"? In addition, I am not able to write to any of the exported shares - e.g., TimeMachine reports errors, mounted shares, etc. This has happened on a few occasions previously and a simple reboot seems to fix it.

Figured I would ask the group if this is something that needs to be explored further, possible bug, etc. For what its worth, my configuration hasnt changed i.e. change cache pools, add/remove drives, etc.

CPU: Intel® Xeon® Gold 6226 CPU @ 2.70GHz

Memory: 512 GiB DDR-4 Multi-bit ECC

Ram usage: 7%

Flash usage: 4%

Log usage: 1%

Docker: 47%

If neeeded:

Cache Pool Size: 3.8TB (2 drive mirror)

Cache Pool FS: btrfs

Used: 585 MB

Free: 3.26 TB

Log files attached.

Thanks again.

Log is filled with fuse errors, can't see what caused them, but try rebooting.

I'm having the exact same issue, did you ever find a solution? I tried restarting and that didn't do anything.

my server is on and reachable remotely over the internet. so the server itself is fine but somehow its saying my /config is not writeable for ANY of my "arr" apps, - lidarr, radarr, sonarr, prowlarr, and even sabnzbd, BUT I can open my Plex web GUI just fine.

Cache pool is too full, you need to free up some space, appdata share is set to use cache=only.

I thought so. But I can’t get the mover to move stuff since I downloaded the mover app from community apps.i also went into my shares and changed it to use cache primary and array secondary. My array has 12 TB of free space, and I’m getting the same error message. Im probably gonna just remove the mover application Thanks for the help! Any more ideas?

Uninstall the mover tuning plugin and retry, if it still fails, post new diags and the name of the share(s) you want moved.

I ended up just uninstalling the mover app, and i just manually move whenever i feel like it, and now it works fine. I probably will try again to download the Mover app and do it through that but for now, its working!
