Unraid server crashes after a week at idle

Featured Replies

I have a Unraid server that I setup at my grandmothers house as an off-site replication ~150 miles. It been there for about a year. It has gone offline a few times. PC Doctor reports everything is fine. I pulled it and brought it back to my shop and left it just powered on for a week and it crashed again. There seems to be a kernel panic on the screen (see attached images).

The only thing I can make out on the screen is 'button on video thermal' I have also attached thermal images.

Any help would be great, thanks.

To get that to work as a notification, you have to begin typing it, then you have to actually make a selection from the matches that appear. Like this @Exilepc

Please see the link above... That is the syslog file

syslog.zipSyslog file

File is too large to open, even with Notepad++, delete/rename that one, start a new syslog server and post that after a crash.

It's not working correctly, it's full of these:

Nov 16 10:36:39 Tower rsyslogd: action 'action-1-builtin:omfile' (module 'builtin:omfile') message lost, could not be processed. Check for additional error messages before this one. [v8.2002.0 try https://www.rsyslog.com/e/2027 ]

Check config.

Strange update - I was having trouble stopping the parity check to check the IP, so I booted into safemode gui and it has been up for over 2 days...

@Exilepc Did you ever figure this out? I seem to be having this exact issue.

This is an old thread. There are a lot of details provided by the OP, and none by you. Often when someone sees a thread that reminds them of a problem they are having, their exact issue is very different in the details.

Start your own thread in General Support, describe your problem in more detail, and include your Diagnostics.
