Lost my Home Assistant VM

Featured Replies

Not sure what is going on but my HA VM has disappeared. I replaced my cache about a week ago. Transferred everything to the new cache drive and everything was working without issue. Today I installed a GPU and had to physically remove the old cache drive (m.2 on a pic-e card). Now my VM's are gone and I don't have any idea how to restore them. Could use some help with this.

Looks like your system share only existed on the cache drive.  The libvirt image is required (which was stored on it).  Copy it back and reboot and you *should* be ok

The libvirt image was on cache and is still present on the new cache.

I replaced the cache in the OS more than a week ago. The old cache has been in UD unmounted since then. The VM has been running all that time.

Is there some way to check what’s actually in the current libvirt image?

I also have CA Backup running backups of libvirt. Should I restore?

Worked. Deleted the image on cache and replaced it with the backup. Working great. THANKS FOR CA BACKUP 👍👍👍
